I'd like to share some of my thoughts on how people talk with each other.
I have noticed that ordinary people seem to be abrupt when talking to others.
Since studying the Fa, I realize that this is because their karma obscures
their original nature. Their Shan (compassion) is not allowed to come forth.
Practitioners however practice xiu ko (cultivation of speech). When talking with practitioners, I feel more warmth in their voices. Their Shan is able to manifest. With
Dafa disciples, attachments restrain their divine side. This shows in how they talk to others.
Also, through experiences in clarifying the truth, I have found that when
I open my heart to speak about the persecution, others' Buddha nature is
awakened. If I speak facts or use my human thinking, I achieve very little.
I believe that only by speaking from the heart can we save people. Studying
the Fa more often is the only way to achieve this.
These are only a few thoughts. Any corrections are welcomed.
