Originally, I had thought that after the chief puppet of the evil, Jiang Zemin, returned to Beijing from Germany that he would not dare to venture outside China for a long time to come. It is no secret that the Clearwisdom website posts Master Li's newest articles and lectures and the latest occurrences with practitioners. This includes our ongoing global event of sending forth righteous thoughts four times daily to eliminate the evil forces that are propping up this personification of the evil. So, why would the chief puppet of the evil announce his visit to Russia and four other countries so soon after returning from Germany? He is perfectly aware of the fact that we are determined to eliminate the forces behind him with our righteous thoughts wherever he goes.
The Chinese government announced that after Jiang finished visiting Russia and certain Baltic countries, he would go to Hong Kong to attend a ceremony that celebrated the 50th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. He would also come to visit the U.S. in September of 2002. Yet, there is no doubt that the evil is fully aware that Dafa disciples will not relinquish any opportunity to send righteous thoughts in close proximity to him. If the evil old forces do not want Jiang's evil masters to be eliminated ahead of schedule, why would they arrange so many opportunities for him to travel overseas? Especially, since Dafa disciples have learned the importance of sending righteous thoughts in close proximity of the embodiment evil for the purpose of eliminating them?
Several things contributed to my insight as to why this is happening. A practitioner from Europe went to a small town in Germany to send righteous thoughts in close proximity to the chief slave of the evil. While preparing a banner with several other practitioners he suddenly recalled that he had had a vision of this very same scene four years ago. Specifically, he had seen the exact same place, practitioners, and messages on the banner four years before this trip. Prior to that moment, he thought that he had already overcome the old forces' arrangements by coming to Germany. Now, it became clear to him that the trip to Germany to send righteous thoughts in close proximity to the evil Jiang was still part of the arrangement of the evil old forces. So if that's the case, then how should we break through the arrangements made by these evil old forces?
In another example of a hidden arrangement made by the old forces, a practitioner in China jumped onto a bus in order to escape from the policemen who were chasing him. Once he was on the bus, he discovered that the policemen who had been looking for him for the past few days happened to be on that very same bus. These policemen were walking toward him. All of sudden it occurred to him that he had seen the same situation, passengers, and policemen in a dream. In the dream, he also saw that these policemen walked toward him and arrested him when they recognized him as a Dafa disciple on the run. He realized immediately, in the midst of the crisis, that the evil old forces had arranged this tribulation. Upon his realization, he focused his mind on calling Master Li for help, pleading with Master Li to give him the strength to break through the old forces' arrangement and refusing to participate in any so-called "test." Because of his righteous thoughts at that moment, the policemen who were approaching failed to recognize him. Several minutes later, he successfully escaped through the bus window.
Master Li told us in the recent North American Lecture Tour that the old forces have been trying to build the human mind for the past several tens of millions of years in order to prepare our minds for the Fa. In other words, the way our minds work today is the result of careful design of the old forces. Then, by what principles did these old forces design the human mind? It is obvious that they did so according to the principles of the old universe. Master Li said in his Lecture at the Conference in Europe that he would endure a lot for us if we would not give up cultivating in the Fa because it was most precious to think of cultivation amidst the chaos of the human world. Master Li's comments revealed how much the human world has deviated! It is indeed a challenge to keep the thought of cultivation.
I feel that our cognitive functions are very warped. Under such circumstances, obtaining and understanding the Fa, not to mention reaching Consummation, is very difficult. The barriers to our Consummations are almost too insurmountable to conquer, for we are the prisoners of our own minds—and our minds are the work of the evil old forces. So, if we should fail to overcome the old forces' arrangements from the root, then we are under their control and are manipulated by them wherever we go.
In addition, the ultimate goal of Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period is not just personal Consummation. In fact, many Dafa disciples have already met the standard for individual Consummation. Many of us have even walked the path of cultivation in our previous lives. Personal cultivation is about sacrifice despite the fact that self-sacrifice can become a selfish notion at a higher level of Fa. "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master (From Lecture One of Zhuan Falun).' This is the ultimate secret to reaching Consummation. Throughout the history of cultivation, enlightened beings only judge a cultivator by his thought of complete sacrifice.
The Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period do not pursue personal cultivation. Our Consummation is directly related to Fa-rectification. We will not reach Consummation if we should fail to rectify the Fa. With this in mind, I tried to look inward, pondering why there was still so much slander being fabricated—everything from "self-immolation" and "Fu Yibin's domestic homicides," to the most recent "Guan Killed Her Daughter" —after so many Dafa disciples have qualified for personal Consummation? Could it be that we are still trapped by the principles of the old universe in some way? Why are those slanderous fabrications all related to the pursuit of Consummation and personal Consummation in particular? Is it true that we are in pursuit of personal Consummation because our minds have not transcended the design by the evil old forces?
Master Li did not tell us about the formation process of human culture and the human mind in order for us to treasure man's culture or cognitive functions. Master Li intended for us to recognize that our minds were nothing but tools that were designed by others.
Despite our efforts to send forth righteous thoughts four times daily to eliminate the head puppet of the evil, Jiang Zemin has increased his visits to overseas countries. To look forward to encountering him during his June visit to Russia, July visit to Hong Kong, or September visit to the U.S. is to agree that the evil forces sustaining him will survive till then. We would be nurturing them with our mind intent, which counteracts the effect of our righteous thoughts. Our minds are molded by the old forces. A thought is nothing but a wish. "If you want to have disease, the disease will be pressed in (Zhuan Falun).' When we accept that the evil forces behind Jiang Zemin will survive until June, July, or September, we are actually playing hide-and-seek in our minds.
Naturally, it is not to say that we should not go meet Jiang Zemin to send righteous thoughts in close proximity. We should grab each and every opportunity to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil. However, while preparing for the trips, Dafa disciples must firmly and righteously believe that Jiang's evil support should not exist and must be eliminated right away!
The Fa-rectification is ending soon. If we can secure more time by eliminating the forces sustaining the principal puppet of the evil we would have more time before the Fa rectifies the human world. Chinese people would hear about the truth of Dafa earlier. We would be able to reach sentient beings on a larger scale. To deny the very existence of Jiang Zemin's evil support system deep in our minds is to break through the old forces' arrangements fundamentally.
