[PureInsight.org] At around 4:38 AM on April 12, 2021, the Hong Kong Epoch Times printing press was violently attacked by four gangsters. After forcibly breaking into the printing press, they used heavy hammers to wreck and smash computers and printing machines and covered them with concrete powder. Then they escaped after stealing a computer. They caused serious damage to the equipment in the Epoch Times Printing Press.
Although the crime transpired in only two minutes, its target was clear, and it had an extremely destructive effect. Apparently the criminals carefully planned the crime, which was why they were able to escape quickly and safely. Reflecting upon the entire crime process and modus operandi, it is not difficult to realize that the culprit behind the scenes must be the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities.
This was not the first time that the Hong Kong Epoch Times printing press was deliberately sabotaged by the Chinese Communist authorities. For many years, Hong Kong Epoch Times has persisted in reporting the truth and exposing the CCP's crimes. It has been a thorn in the CCP’s side. Since the establishment of the printing press, similar violent attacks and sabotage incidents have occurred at least five times in 15 years.
On the evening of February 28, 2006, the printing press had just been established for about two weeks. Four criminals broke in and destroyed the newly-purchased printing press worth over one million yuan.
In October 2012, someone broke the door of the Hong Kong Epoch Times printing press.
In December 2012, seven gangsters carrying several packages of tools intended to break into and sabotage the Hong Kong Epoch Times printing press. They were discovered by security guards and reported to the police.
In May 2013, criminals attempted to break into and destroy the printing press twice but failed. Then they broke the iron lock of the factory gate.
At about 3:50 AM on November 19, 2019, four masked criminals broke into and destroyed the Epoch Times printing press by arson. While threatening the workers with police batons, they doused gasoline in the factory to burn newspapers and equipment, causing serious damage to newspapers and printing equipment. The four gangsters quickly fled while the fire burned fiercely.
These violent attacks and sabotage incidents were all directed by CCP authorities behind the scenes. Although the Hong Kong police have opened several cases for investigation, none of them have been resolved. The Hong Kong police have purportedly started the investigations. We hope the police can uphold justice, handle the cases in accordance with the law, track down the perpetrators and criminals behind the scenes, and bring them to justice.
WOIPFG strongly condemns the Chinese authorities' deliberate sabotage of Hong Kong Epoch Times and lists this incident as an important investigation case. This case will be investigated to the end, and the criminals and CCP culprits behind the scenes will be prosecuted!
We solemnly warn the thugs of the evil CCP that the CCP is disintegrating, and justice will be served! The CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is a crime of genocide and a crime against humanity!
