[PureInsight.org] I am a Dafa
disciple in Heilongjiang Province who started practicing Dafa in
1998. My mother is 84 years old this year. She has been
suffering from multiple illnesses, such as heart disease and
emphysema. In January, 2007, I received a phone call from a
relative who advised me of my mother being critically ill. I led
all my three family members to pack hurriedly and we took an express
bus to my mom's home.
When we arrived, my elderly mother was very ill and dying. The
doctor advised us that mom's lungs and kidneys were in bad condition
and her life could only last no more than a few days. All the
family members and relatives had gathered to arrange the funeral
affairs and they had been waiting for me to return. I was calm
without being flustered, although my mom was in critical
condition. I sat beside her reading the Dafa book to her and
doing the Dafa exercises. I just did what I should do.
Miraculously, my mother became better and better and was discharged
from the hospital after two days. The doctor was amazed when he
saw his dying patient recovering so quickly. After we went home,
I sat beside my mom day and night, reading the Dafa book to her.
Her health improved even more quickly. She told me, "Our home is
full of flowers. There are more flowers on your body and they are
brighter. But the other people do not have any flowers on their
bodies". I showed her Zhuan Falun
and pointed at the Fa Wheel (Falun). I asked her whether the
flowers she had seen were the Fa Wheel. She replied repeatedly,
"Yes, yes, they are the flowers." Then I showed her Master's
photo and told her, "It is Master who has saved your life." My
mother respectfully put her hands in heshi and said, "Thanks, Master,
for saving my life." She kept on saying, "Thank Master's
benevolence". Since then, every day, she has silently recited
"Falun Dafa is good." Mom's illness broke out twice. Each
time, she was critically ill and dying. But each time, as soon as I sat
beside her, she recovered rapidly. All of our family relatives
and neighbors were amazed and said, "Dafa is amazing. The illness
goes away as soon as the Dafa disciple comes home." Since then,
my family members began to believe in Dafa. Now my daughter and
wife have started practicing the exercises with me.
Once, in the past, my brother-in-law (my younger sister's husband) was
drunk and lost his temper. He held a knife and threatened to kill
people. Nobody was able to stop him. However, as soon as my
sister said that she would hang a Dafa amulet on him, he immediately
became quiet and said, "I'm leaving." He laid down on the bed and
fell asleep soundly.
All these a miracles that have happened in our family are
manifestations of Master's mercy and benevolence. The whole
family is grateful to Master and Dafa from the bottom of our
hearts. We sincerely thank Master for restoring the life of my
84-year-old mother.
