[PureInsight.org] In "Teaching
the Fa in the City of Los Angeles," Master talked about the great
significance for New Tang Dynasty Television to host the New Year
shows. Especially the 2006 Holiday Wonders show and the 2007 Chinese
New Year Spectacular had the extremely profound significance. This is
Master rectifying the Fa. The New Year shows in past years were
practitioners' verifying the Fa. I shared my understanding with other
practitioners regarding this. We all realized that it must be the right
thing to do if Master asked us to do it. But from the Fa perspective,
practitioners have different understandings. Here I just want to share
with you my understanding.
I was fortunate enough to obtain the Fa in 1995. When I heard that
Master had stopped teaching the Fa in China and would go overseas to
teach, I felt a little bit lost. Even though I know what Master said in
"A Brief Explanation of Shan": "The Dafa I teach today is not only
taught to Eastern people, but also to Westerners at the same time.
Their kind people should also be saved..." I knew that it was right to
teach the Fa overseas. But I still thought that Master should have a
few more Falun Dafa seminars in China. That was my understanding at
that time. With a strong attachment to pursuit, I thought that Master
teaching Fa was just because both the Eastern people and the Western
people needed to obtain the Fa. I did not understand the Fa
rectification process. I did not know that everything that Master does
is arranged according to a larger view and its significance is
extremely profound. After the Chinese evil party started to persecute
Falun Gong in 1999, the overseas Falun Gong practitioners played
extremely important roles in Fa rectification. It was then that I
realized another aspect to the importance of Master teaching the Fa
overseas.
How to understand the importance and the significance of NTDTV's
hosting the New Year shows is also related to how to understand it from
the Fa perspective. Everyone knows that we are in the final stage of Fa
rectification. We also know that Master is rectifying the Fa. In
"Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles" Master said: "During this
process, how the beings have acted and everything that has played out
in history are directly related to the Fa-rectification." During this
period of time, Master organizes, guides, and is directly involved in
the New Year show. Does Master rectify the Fa? Yes! It must be. It is
hard to see the importance and significance of the show at the surface
level. In the human world, we watch the New Year show that has singing,
dancing and orchestral performances. This is a show. We use this form
to save sentient beings. We leave the culture behind for our next
generations. In other dimensions, including the microscopic dimensions,
this is a very important part of Fa rectification. In past years,
practitioners used the New Year show to validate the Fa. As disciples,
this is such an honor and we are most fortunate to have such an
opportunity to help Master to rectify the Fa, to facilitate what Master
wants. We should cherish this precious opportunity.
Master said: "when those who have watched the Gala walk out of the
theatre, any and all bad thoughts they had have been dissolved? All of
their bad thoughts are gone. (Applause)
That's why people found it so powerful." (Excerpted from "Teaching the

large-scale great responses and recognition from mainstream society.
Many people were moved to tears. The shows really save the sentient
beings. In addition, I think that the shows are more than just saving
them. Master said in Zhuan Falun:
"Truly eliminating a person's karma all at once can only be done for
practitioners, and not for everyday people." If when those who have
watched the show walk out of the theatre, any and all bad thoughts they
had have been dissolved, and all of their bad thoughts are gone, it is
not a simple thing. Matter and mind are the same thing. I think that
his (her) body must be changing. Maybe these people are not only saved.
Many of them might also become cultivators during the Fa's
rectification of the human world. If that is the case, is selling one
ticket just saving one sentient being? Who buys a ticket and who comes
to watch the show is determined by Master. Master's law body is
actually doing this thing. This is same as the Dafa books in the
bookstores. It is also same as practicing Dafa excises together to
spread the Fa. The current situation is that disciples promote tickets
and Master's law body brings the predestinated people to come to watch
the show. The internal meaning of "promoting tickets" is too deep to be
fathomable.
Some practitioners are afraid that everyday people may have difficult
time accepting it if there are too many Falun Gong-related songs in the
show. Whether we should have so many Falun Gong related songs is also
related to where we stand when we look at this issue. Since our Master
is rectifying Dafa, the show program must be arranged for the best. It
has been fourteen years since Dafa was introduced to the public. It has
been seven years since the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting
Falun Gong. People from China and overseas all knew about Falun
Gong. But because of the damaging penetration by the Communist
Party culture, even though we are in the final stage of Fa
rectification and there are not much time left to save sentient beings,
there are still many people who are poisoned by the Communist Party
culture and do not know the truth about Falun Gong. In view of such
change in the cosmic climate, we clearly tell sentient beings about the
Master Buddha who came to save sentient beings, to find answers to "Who
am I?" and "What is the true purpose of life?," how to quickly find the
truth to avoid elimination, as well as other things. This is extremely
important information that we want to tell sentient beings so that
their true selves can be awakened and touched. That's why there were so
many people who were moved to tears by these songs. More people praised
the songs this year than in any previous one.
Because the Fa rectification touched the old forces' factors, we had so
much interference, trouble, and damage. The
interference manifested in many ways: interference with the show in
South Korea, threatening sponsors, making trouble in the theaters, and
interfering the ticket sale hot lines, for example. All these are the
manifestations of the Fa rectification process in our dimension. Faced
with these types of interference, on the one hand, we need to eliminate
them using righteous thoughts. Whether you are directly or indirectly
involved in the NTDTV New Year shows, you need to send the righteous
thoughts to clear out the evil interference. On the other hand, we need
to eliminate our human notions. "As you get rid of human mentality,

If we have righteous thoughts with righteous action and do what Master
asks us to do, we not only help our Master to rectify the Fa with
respect to the New Year show, but also improve our xinxing.
Maybe we still can not understand the true meaning of what master said,
but it should be fine if we follow what Master said in "Teaching the Fa
in the City of Los Angeles":
"Disciple asks: If a person believes whatever Master says and doesn't think about it further, is that a correct state to be in?
"Teacher: Gods will definitely
think that person is extraordinary. But I would still like the person
to read the books, and to study the Fa a lot."
