[PureInsight.org] Sex outside marriage is lustful adultery. This behavior cannot be tolerated by Heaven and Earth, and is despised by Gods and ghosts alike. As soon as the lustful thoughts come forth, even before any action takes place, a large amount of virtue is lost. If committed in action, not only will it bring great danger to oneself, but also misfortune to the offspring.
The pleasure from lustful adultery is short-lived, yet the sinful karma it brings is mountainous. Among those who commit lustful adultery, some may die as a result, some fall from senior positions, some ruin their own families and some end up having no children. A person may be predestined to enjoy great wealth and fame, but if he commits lustful adultery, he may become poor and miserable all his life. A person may be predestined to live a long life and have great fortune, but if he commits lustful adultery, he may become injured or sickly and die at an early age. A person may be predestined to have a faithful wife and a virtuous daughter, but if he commits sinful adultery, his loved ones may also become unfaithful and lustful.
In the past, some people with supernormal abilities have seen that the retribution for lustful adultery are the most severe. For example, having sexual intercourse with someone else's wife or unmarried daughter will make one suffer in hell after death for five hundred years. After that, he may then become donkeys or horses for another five hundred years, before he becomes human again. Even as a human, he may become a prostitute or do some other work of that order. If someone makes a widow or a nun sleep with him, thus damaging the morality of society, this person will suffer in hell after death for eight hundred years. After that, he may become pigs or goats to be killed for food for another eight hundred years. After becoming human again, he may become a disabled person. Seducing one's superior or someone much younger than oneself is incestuous; this makes the offender suffer in hell after death for one thousand and five hundred years, before he or she is born again as snakes or mice for another one thousand and five hundred years. When this person becomes human again, he or she may die in utero or as an infant, that is, having only a short lifespan. Of course, these retributions are not all there is, and the details may vary with individual cases. However, this shows the severity and seriousness of lustful adultery.
Although the retribution for committing lustful adultery is very severe, it is even more severe for those who lead others into committing it. The suffering in hell is beyond description. If one enters the Wu Jian Hell, there is probably no way out. The indulgence and pleasure in one life is in fact very short-lived, so we shouldn't ignore what may be awaiting us after death. A wise person should certainly reflect on it.
