[PureInsight.org] Last winter I watched the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party video for the first time. My whole body felt chilly after I watched the first and fifth commentaries. Although it was winter, inside the house it was pretty warm. This coldness wasn't like the cold feeling on the skin; instead, it came from inside. The cold penetrates through my bone marrow and I couldn't help shaking. When I finished watching more than half of the Nine Commentaries, I no longer felt cold; instead, I was warm all over again. When I finished watching all 9 parts, my whole body was warm, comfortably and relaxed. I believe I had cleansed the evil elements. I was feeling cold because of their negative nature.
During the Lunar New Year, I had a dream. I dreamed that I had a cut on the back of my hand. There was something similar to a mechanical gear moving inside. In my dream, I cut open my hand and dragged the thing out. After I woke up, I thought about what the dream was about. Could it be something evil hiding inside me was trying to harm me? I realized that it was Teacher hinting to me to read the commentaries systematically to get rid of the Communist evil spirit and poison. I then read the whole article once more. I can't remember what was my reaction then. Until recently, I often discovered there were elements of the evil spirit manifesting in me so I exhibited such behavior as competitiveness, combativeness, self-righteousness, and impulsiveness. I felt there was a need to re-read the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party to clean out the poison in my body. The first day when I started to read it, my whole body was feeling cold again, the same type of chilliness penetrating from deep inside my bone. My whole body felt weak and my head numb. I continued to read it the second day; I started to feel warm in the afternoon, my back felt comfortably warm. Based on this experience, I personally think that each of us needs to eliminate the evil spirit. Nearly everyone, more or less, has some poison inside. And if we don't cleanse the evil elements completely, we won't be able to save the sentient beings effectively.
Teacher has said in "Touring North America to Teach the Fa:"
"In other words, the gigantic cosmic body you represent is the same as your body--it corresponds to your body. Then perhaps many beings won't be saved because you didn't cultivate well--it's because you haven't cultivated well that they can't become good. Your not getting rid of a lot of attachments interferes with them, and they, in turn, are also interfering with you."
I hope that fellow practitioners will pay attention to this effect. First of all, we need to cleanse the evil spirits and poisons inside of ourselves, as this will make our space more pure that we'll be able to save the sentient beings. We also need to pay attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. We need to eliminate the evil spirits with righteous thoughts.
Finally, let us review what Teacher says in "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World:"
"In addition, only when Dafa disciples are able to clearly recognize it for what it is, purge it from their minds and no longer let it interfere with their thinking, can they have stronger righteous thoughts and do well what Dafa disciples should do; it is a step in cultivation that you have to take."
