[PureInsight.org] I had the good fortune to start practicing Falun Dafa in December 2002. I was introduced to the practice by a fellow Dafa practitioner. I have a son, whose name is Chaoqun. He is seven years old. I would like to share with you the immense advancement of my son's intelligence after he started to practice Falun Dafa. I share this story so as to have the world people know that Falun Dafa is good.
Little Chaochun started his cultivation practice in Falun Dafa in 2004. Before he started his practice, he was a mentally challenged child. Our whole family suffered a great deal of pain for him. Last September, when I sent my six-year-old Chaochun to the preschool at Shiyan Elementary School, the school principle and a schoolteacher administered a simple test. They found his IQ was very low, and refused to accept him. [In Asia, it is very common for an elementary school to also run a preschool that shares one campus. ]
In order to give little Chaoqun the opportunity to go to school, my husband used many connections to finally have Chaoqun admitted to the school. However, in only a few days, Chaoqun's teacher told me, "Your child often cannot find his own classroom, and ends up sitting in the classroom of a different grade. Please take your son home as soon as possible. He is too big a risk for us."
Our entire family worried about his education, but we had no other choice but to send him back to the kindergarten. One day when I went to pick him up, his kindergarten teacher told me, "You child cannot learn anything. A three-year-old would be better than him." I was heartbroken.
I told myself, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Falun Dafa is supernormal. Why didn't I ask Teacher Li Hongzhi to help little Chaoqun to start his cultivation practice in Falun Dafa? I think Dafa will give him the wisdom he needs." So I started reading Zhuan Falun (Falun Dafa's main study text) to Chaochun and playing the audio recordings of Teacher Li Hongzhi's lectures to him. He likes listening to them very much. When he saw Teacher's pictures, he would yell out "Teacher." So far, little Chaochun has finished listening to the recordings of Teacher's lectures four times. One day he asked me, "Mom, please teach me the Falun Gong exercises."
Since little Chaochun started his cultivation practice in Falun Dafa, he has undergone great improvements both physically and mentally, especially his intellectual abilities. His grandma exclaimed excitedly, "My grandson became a smart child all of a sudden!" His schoolteacher now tells me, "Little Chaoqun progresses very fast. He seems to have become smart all in a sudden." Moreover, he practices tolerance when conflicts arise between his classmates and him." The schoolteacher told the whole class to learn from Chaoqun.
After having witnessed this great progress both physically and mentally in little Chaochun, my whole family appreciates Teacher's great benevolence tremendously. We know it is Teacher that has improved Chaoqun's intelligence. Falun Dafa is a highly virtuous Buddha Fa (Law and Principles in Buddha school) that shall forever enjoy the world's people's great respect.
