Known for her compassion, Guan Yin (or Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara) is one of the two senior Bodhisattvas in the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss. Her power has no limits and she saves those in trouble. She sits on the lotus seat and with her willow twig sprinkles magic elixir from her bottle on the people. Wherever this elixir falls, all sickness and calamity disappear.
