FLAWLESS WINGS
Like a bird unfurled into sun,
skies brimming of cloudless
light as the world and its dark
remain far below...
With an uncrowded heart
lifting others into flight,
offering flawless wings,
welcomes beyond any
feathers ruffled or frail.
BIRD OF WAKEFUL SONG
Where fallen into dreams
and forgetfulness, fragile,
awry upon a wingless heart...
Ascend we must, beyond
every domain, summoned
now into wakeful heights.
