Topic 1: The Phone Team Shares Experiences with Demonstration Tours
To encourage more and more practitioners to make phone calls to clarify the truth, practitioners on this phone team recently made demonstration tours in many cities in Taiwan to share their telephone calling experiences. During the process of making phone calls, they have not only improved their xinxing quickly, but also understood better the principles of the Fa of saving sentient beings with great compassion. It’s more meaningful to go through the process than expect results from the phone call, because we are doing what Dafa disciples should do. It is more important to make phone calls with a pure heart.
Using a mobile phone, practitioners demonstrated how to make phone calls to city residents and peasants, to police departments, labor camps and so on. Practitioners in the group helped each other, complemented each other. When someone is calling, the others are sending forth righteous thoughts. Some are young, some are old, and some are housewives in the group. We usually begin the conversation with our concerns for our hometowns, our praises to our motherland; then we got into the truth that we owe Dafa gratitude, being thankful to teach people to be compassionate, and that Dafa has been slandered. We remembered that in many cases, all of us sang “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “Coming for You” and other songs composed by Dafa practitioners over the phones to those precious Chinese people. The audience listened from the beginning to the end and thanked us for telling them the truth. At the end, all the practitioners were in tears, because one more being in the universe has known that “Falun Dafa is good.”
Every demonstration would encourage some practitioners to start to make phone calls. Once there was a practitioner who had not called any evil police before. She said she wanted to try to call the evil in a labor camp. She got connected. She was too nervous. We saw her shaking while talking. All other practitioners thought she was magnificent, because she had overcome her fear and was doing what a Dafa disciple should do. To demonstrate and share experiences making phone calls is not to get recognition or praise from other practitioners, but to encourage each other and that all of us can step forward to validate Dafa, do a Dafa disciple’s duty. Of course during these demonstrations, some practitioners corrected what we did not well. We were willing to accept with humility as well as looking inward to find our shortcomings.
Looking back at those demonstration tours in many areas, some practitioners were touched and stepped forward; more and more practitioners have become better coordinated and supportive of each other. The whole body is more favorably united and much elevated in level. Of course, some practitioners have not stepped forward. They are still in the process of individual cultivation. We are one body. We will continue to care for them and understand them. The whole body will lead individuals; individuals will make up the whole body. Let’s be diligent together! Our future is bright.
Topic 2: Summary for the Taiwanese “Quick Response” Calling Group
The evil persecution of Dafa disciples in some areas of Mainland China is still very severe. To eliminate evils immediately in order to reduce the persecution of Mainland practitioners, a “quick response phone group” was set up within the Taiwanese phone team. This group focused on those persecution cases reported by Minghui Net and collected by North American practitioners, through calling to Mainland “610 Offices,” police departments, forced labor camps and education camps to clarify the truth. They also shared experiences, to lead more practitioners to participate in this group.
Generally speaking, calls to evil doers are more difficult because recipients tend to scold or hang up the phone. In fact as long as we let go of our notions, evil doers are also ordinary people. So we treat them as ordinary people to tell the truth to, tell them Dafa disciples are cultivators who are better than the good people; Dafa is the righteous Fa, which teaches people to be compassionate. Then these phone calls are easier than calls to residents, because we are righteous and evil will not win over righteousness.
In the beginning, there were only a few members in the quick response-calling group. Blocked by fear, it was not easy to run the group. Those few people did not work as a whole body. After looking inward and sharing Fa principles, we enlightened that the “610 Offices,” forced labor camps and police departments who persecute Mainland practitioners are the centers of the evil forces. Eliminating evil cannot wait. It is Dafa disciples’ undeniable responsibility. To those practitioners who are afraid to call, we should encourage them with great tolerance; lead them with Dafa principles and work together for this sacred and magnificent work. From these enlightening incidents and our further understanding, after two weeks, things were getting better. Several practitioners continuously called evil doers and shared their understanding. Gradually, more and more practitioners from many cities and countries participated in the quick response-calling group, which also generated an energy field to eliminate evil with the whole body.
Now more and more practitioners from the United States, Canada and Australia have participated in the global quick response-calling groups and phone teams. Many of them are also doing other Hongfa work as well. We need more people to strengthen the power of clarifying the truth. We encourage those who are not very busy and other practitioners to join in clarifying the truth over the phone. Master said at the 2003 Midwest-U.S. Fa Conference, “Every phone call from our students shocks them to the point that they can't sleep at night, they're that afraid.” Master has told us clearly that the time for Fa-rectification would not be too long (not exact words) and reminded us, “Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them.” (From Hurry Up and Tell Them)
Here is a simple experience from one practitioner in the phone team. One night, before making the phone call, I didn’t know what to say. I knew the evil doers were trying to block me from calling. Then I remembered what Master said in “Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference,” “As for whether the result is good, don't look at the other party, it comes from your minds. If you want it to be good then it will be good. And if you don't intend to make it good, or if your mind is unsteady, then it won't be easy to rectify things. In other words, you need to have strong righteous thoughts.” So I let go of my notions. It didn’t matter how to start. Calling them is to give them an opportunity. Why should we let the words stop us? So I placed a call to the head of a city police office. I told him I got his number from the Internet and told him point blank that I heard some practitioners were persecuted severely in his department. He denied this in an unfriendly way at first. But I used my righteous thoughts to tell him peacefully, about how I benefited in both body and mind from Dafa cultivation, and Dafa has been spread all over the world. After he listened to me, he told me three practitioners in the police department had been released. Then he asked me to send him more truth-clarifying materials and he also wanted to practice Falun Gong. When I heard this, I smiled. As long as I followed the Fa, every thing has been well arranged.
Topic 3: Young Taiwanese Practitioners Call to Clarify the Truth
When promoting phone calls to clarify the truth, we noted that it’s important to have young disciples participate, as they are also the particles of Dafa. So we started children’s programs to have children practitioners make phone calls in a group. At first they made their own draft of a calling script. For example, a six-year-old girl said to speak into the phone like this, “How are you? I am calling from Taiwan to tell you a truth, which is that Falun Gong teaches me to be a good child. Please remember that Falun Dafa is good. Thank you. Goodbye.” Children’s phone calls are also arranged in Minghui School’s curriculums, sometimes with a small group lead by an assistant, and sometimes with a bigger group using a speakerphone. Every child can hear the conversation and those who were not talking were sending forth righteous thoughts. Thus every child participated. On the surface, it appeared as if a child is telling the truth. In fact, we understood that it’s also part of the whole body. Young practitioners also realized the importance of clarifying the truth.
One practitioner has a four-year-old daughter. After the first time in the Minghui School calling event, although she didn’t call at that time, she wanted to make phone calls when she returned home. She said a few sentences and then her mother continued. It had a very good effect. Some other practitioners were afraid to call and never called, but once they saw children calling, they also picked up the phone. In general, children’s calls sound very natural and the results are very good.
Recently, Taiwanese phone teams also cooperated and coordinated with other truth telling project groups, which generated an even greater energy field as a whole body to clarify the truth. If Dafa practitioners can cooperate and coordinate with each other selflessly, we will form an unbreakable, whole body and carry out the greatest power of Fa.
