Preface: Facing up to man's prehistoric civilization
Many people have reservations about the evidence of prehistoric cultures discovered by archaeologists. When some scientists found evidence about the existence of advanced civilizations in prehistoric time, instead of looking at them from an objective angle, many others viewed these prehistoric relics with skepticism. One important reason is the influence of Darwin's evolutionary theory. Scientists drew an evolutionary tree based on Darwin's theory. The time scale of the tree is determined by the ages of geological depositions. The theory of evolution is still a hypothesis. However, after the time frame of evolution was estimated, it was considered by later scientists to be unchangeable. When a fossil was found in a stratum that was not "supposed" to be there according to evolution theory, scientists suspected the fossil was most likely fake.
If we always hold on to the old theories, science will not make any progress. Take physics as an example. Newton's classic theory of mechanics was considered to be unshakable for the past several centuries. When scientists looked at the movement of electrons on a microscopic level, they found Newton's theory did not work any more. Then physicists developed theories of quantum mechanics to explain the movements of electrons. If physicists had held onto Newton's theory, there would be none of today's physics.
Similarly, the evolution theory is just a theory. It should not be considered unquestionable dogma. We should develop new and more reasonable theories along with the accumulation of new findings. If we simply hold onto a theory that is more than one hundred years old and refuse to let it evolve, our understanding of the nature of life will forever be a myth.
According to Darwin's theory of evolution, humans should become more and more clever and keep on evolving. If is true, modern science should be able to explain ancient scientific inventions perfectly. But the following examples tell us that it is not the case.
A lot of inherited ancient knowledge is still of interest today, such as the Eight Diagrams, the Book of Changes, the Hetu, and the Luoshu in China. Modern people cannot fully understand their wisdom even though they have existed for thousands of years. Many scientists found that Ancient China's Five Elements theory (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth) and the principles in the Book of Changes are consistent with modern science. Some scientists compare the periodic table of the elements and the Five Elements and found the theory of the Five Elements is not just reasonable, but even surpasses modern science in some aspects.
Additionally, qigong practices are very popular in China, many of which have a history of thousands of years. People who practice qigong know that qigong can help them improve their health and cure illnesses. Those who cultivate in a proper path may even develop supernormal capabilities—they can do something with their thoughts that others cannot even do with their hands and feet. How could the ancient people of thousands of years ago have developed such advanced practices?
Many people have tried to explain these phenomena but none of them have been able to give a complete answer. Thus, all of them became enigmas. However, after we searched through a lot of related literature, including archaeological discoveries, evidence of prehistoric disasters, prehistoric relics and so on, we drew a clear conclusion: prehistoric cultures are real! The happened not only once, but many times.
Human beings did not evolve from primates. Man created unbelievably glorious civilizations more advanced than ours many times in the past. The nuclear reactor found in Gabon is a very good example. It was estimated that the reactor was built 2 billion years ago, and it had been in use for over 500,000 years. These numbers are beyond the imagination of today's nuclear engineers. The Indian narrative poem Mahabharata mentioned that ancient people used missiles to attack enemies in wartime. Scientists even found remains of an ancient nuclear explosion in India which seemed to be caused by a nuclear bomb.
But we also found a fact—no matter how glorious those civilizations were, they could avoid the inexorable fate of destruction. Why? It is due to the nature of the human heart. Highly advanced techniques together with a corrupted human heart made people spoil themselves and waste everything. Every civilization was destroyed under these conditions. When archaeologists investigated the pyramids under the sea, they found many sculptures that are morally offensive. These are not art and they are products that appeared after human morality decayed. That is why the people who constructed those undersea pyramids all disappeared. No matter how advanced their techniques were or how spectacular their creativity was, they could not escape the judgment of heaven.
