An Elderly Practitioner Writes Truth Clarification Flyers Every Day by Hand

A Dafa Practitioner in China

PureInsight | December 23, 2002

Due to various reasons, an elderly female Dafa practitioner was unable to receive any printed truth clarification material for distribution. Luckily, she can access truth clarification packages on Dafa websites on a regular basis.

She has never been discouraged by the difficulties that she faces. She excerpts passages from the truth clarification packages while she reads them. She also writes her own truth clarification verses. Next, she begins to transcribe the excerpts and verses down on paper carefully, stroke by stroke, one sheet after another. She writes many truth clarification flyers everyday. She has never taken any days off even when she has a sore wrist.

After the transcription work is done, she posts the handwritten truth clarification flyers in public places at night. She has been persistently transcribing truth clarification flyers for more than a year.

Nowadays, there are all kinds of advertisement flyers in the eye-catching areas in public places in China. Among all of the printed flyers, her hand-written truth clarification flyers stood out like a crane standing among chickens, leading one into a wonderland, harmonizing one's heart, and lightening one's body. [Note: "A crane standing among chickens" is a Chinese phrase to describe a person who far surpasses others, or stands head and shoulders over others.]

Whenever I see her truth clarification flyers transcribed stroke by stroke with her heart, my heart is enveloped with warm feelings. I am melted by the display of her compassion and feel deeply ashamed of my lack of diligence in cultivation.

Perseverance leads to greatness. Determination breeds glory.

"The path a Dafa disciple takes is a glorious history, and this history has to be created by his own enlightening." (From "Path" in Essentials for Further Advancement II.)
Fellow practitioners, let's be more diligent in cultivation! In order to save more sentient beings, let's "lose no time and save them, and hurry up and tell them", "like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths." (From "Hurry Up and Tell Them.")
