Prologue
Teacher said, "Every word in my book is a Falun when it's seen from a low level, and every word is a Law Body of mine when it's seen at a high level—even the component parts are individual ones. It's also different from other books when you're reading out loud with your mouth. Many people have already developed pretty good gong through cultivation, and even the words that they read out loud have images, what comes out of their mouths are all Falun. In other words, our book is not an ordinary book. Of course, people whose levels aren't yet adequate still can't do this." With this quotation from our Teacher in mind, allow me to share a story where a fellow practitioner, referred to as "A," recently witnessed the might power of "sharp swords" (see also "Hurry Up and Tell Them" by Master Li) in a direct confrontation with the evil.
One day a police squad broke into A's home, trying to abduct him to a brainwashing camp without any legal procedure or lawful court trial.
At that moment A completely let go of the attachment to life and death. He confidently and compassionately clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the policemen.
The policemen were ferocious and belligerent toward A until A finally declared, "It is a heavenly law that the good will be rewarded with good, and the evil will be met with evil. Did it ever occur to you that you will sooner or later face evil consequences for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners?"
These words seemed to have shocked the leader of the police squad in some way. First, he was struck speechless, and then he did the strangest thing: he suddenly swung his head backward and forward. Then he kept hanging his head as if he had suddenly lost the strength to support his head upright. He replied in a weak, low voice, "No, it never occurred to me at all." He moved away from A with his head hanging and eyes on the ground, mumbling to himself, "It is not like we enjoy persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners." Then he decided to call his superiors for further instructions. While he was on the phone, A cleverly and wisely escaped from the scene.
It is my understanding of Teacher's lectures and my Fa-rectification experiences that although we speak human languages and apply human logic, it is actually the "sharp swords," "shredding apart the rotten demons' lies" when we clarify the truth to sentient beings. I imagine that these "sharp swords" are high-energy matter. They are gong, supernormal abilities, or Fa-tools, [as Teacher explained in "Suggestions Given at the Beijing Falun Dafa Assistants Meeting on December 17, 1994" in Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa.] Their might power will intimidate and eliminate evil, and dissolve all unrighteous elements in one's thoughts.
