“The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated”. This is the sacred Fa verse Master has taught us. Some practitioners with Tianmu opened can see, at their levels, some of the effects of reciting this verse. Please let me share an experience and my understanding of this verse with you.
First let me digress. During the Gothenberg conference, we received news that a high-ranking politician in Hong Kong called Falun Gong a slanderous word. Immediately, I heard someone say something like “he should be eliminated”. In reaction, I realized that previously I had pictured sending forth righteous thoughts as simply eliminating evil, not doing Fa rectification.
Master said at the Great Lakes Conference, “They would rather destroy everything than not have the necessary standards be met”. In contrast to this, Master chose to rectify the Fa of the cosmos, rather than destroy everything and create it anew. As Dafa cultivators, we should “Follow Teacher closely” (“The Knowing Heart”). I understood that because we are cultivating amidst the Fa rectification, we should and have the ability to rectify these evil and deviant beings. At that time, when I sent forth-righteous thoughts, I felt like I was changing the surroundings rather than destroying evil elements. I also felt more compassionate.
The Fa rectification verse also melted into my understanding. The order in which Teacher uses the words, “The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated”, seemed to be simple and clear. Master uses “The Fa rectifies the cosmos,” and then “the evil is completely eliminated”.
The understanding I came to was that our goal is to “rectify the cosmos”. The evil would naturally not exist as a result of this.
