my husband and I participated in an activity supporting people who quit
the Chinese Communist Party. At the end of the event, a fellow
practitioner asked me whether I would have time to go and distribute
flyers about the New Tang Dynasty Television Chinese New Year
Spectacular. She said that a performance was about to start in
that theatre. Thet needed people to go there to pass out the
Spectacular flyers. My husband and I decided to go and arrived at
the theatre on time.
We hadn't prepared for this. So I was wearing a black top.
I was a little bit concerned about having less impact due to not
wearing a Tang Dynasty style dress. Then I thought again:
appearance is very important, but it shouldn't be the most
important. Where my heart is, is the most important thing.
Moreover, what these people need are flyers. Nobody will pay
special attention to my appearance. I will make better
preparations next time. However, I have come this time without
preparing a beautiful dress. I still should do what I should do
and do it well.
I then calmed down and said silently "Falun Dafa is good." I
distributed flyers to the theater audience and passersby. After a
while, people started arriving in tides. I was a little bit
anxious that I wasn't able to give everyone a flyer when so many people
were arriving at the same time. The weather was very cold.
We had the previous activity in the rain. My hands were a little
bit stiff after the rain. Some people passed me and couldn't get
a flyer. Some people stopped and waited for me to give them a
flyer.
As I was passing out flyers, gradually I felt that almost everyone took
a flyer. An invisible hand gave me power to pass out flyers
faster and faster, yet following a harmonic melody. The pace went
like: reaching out, receiving, reaching out, and receiving, and
so on...
Among the flyer receivers, many oriental people received flyers.
I wanted to look for them in the past and couldn't find them.
Today all these people came to me and took flyers. What a
precious opportunity! I thanked the fellow practitioners who
organized us and arranged this project of distributing flyers in front
of theatres. I was grateful that Master gave me such an
opportunity.
At one moment, I felt that I was doing it in the other
dimensions. I was talking to these living beings and telling them
something.
My husband said to me, "the performance is starting now. Let's
go." However, I still saw people coming to my spot from
everywhere. I told my husband, "We are not here to accomplish
some project. There are still people coming here. They are
waiting for flyers. We cannot leave them. Let's
stay." At this time, a lady came over in a rush. I reached
out with a flyer. She took the flyer in the second when she
passed me and ran into the theater. More people ran into the
theater and took flyers on their way. We stayed until nobody was
entering the theatre any more.
My less-than-an-hour experience showed me a lot of things. It
showed me that no matter how many ordinary dramas are performing in
this world, all people are waiting to connect their pre-destined
relationship and waiting to see the NTDTV Chinese New Year
Spectacular. Performing the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular in
the human world has very deep meanings. Its significant impact
can not be imagined by human notions.
Master said, "People with predestined relationships and those who can
be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous
gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear
right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a
chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't
work if you're not out there doing things." ("Teaching the Fa at
the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital")
This time I acquired deeper understanding of this sentence.
Master has already arranged everything. It's up to us to do or
not do. When we hesitate and linger, it's because we cannot let
go of human attachments and have too many concerns, and haven't placed
the Fa the foremost.
If all Dafa disciples can take actions to contribute to the NTDTV
Chinese New Year Spectacular, we will see big changes in the situation.
