Chinese New Year Spectacular is a very big event. It is no less
important than the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. It
transfers the truth in Heaven to stages in the human world in a form
that ordinary people like to see. Those who can appreciate the
Spectacular performances onsite are very fortunate.
The NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular and Holiday Wonder in New York
City are not an issue for only a certain segment of fellow
practitioners. It is a issue common to all Dafa disciples all
over the world. Even those fellow practitioners in Mainland China
can still provide righteous support for overseas practitioners.
The standpoint from which we conduct this project is very
important. If we work from the human perspective and promote
tickets for the sake of promoting tickets, our efforts will linger in
the level of Qi just as
ordinary people's work. If we utilize our divine intent, the
righteous intent we cultivate from the Fa, to promote the NTDTV Chinese
New Year Spectacular, and promote tickets for the sake of offering
sentient beings an opportunity to be saved, the impact will be
different.
Sometimes we cannot see results immediately. But we should
persist in our efforts. We are not doing this just for today, but
also for the future, to create the opportunity to enter the future for
sentient beings. We should utilize all kinds of channels to
promote and market the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular.
Sometimes nobody buys tickets directly from our efforts, but the more
solidly we spread the information, the deeper our marketing penetrates
the public, the more positive impact there will be in the present and
in the future. Whether it is done via flyers, phone calls,
emails, posters, exhibit boards, in-person conversations, our efforts
clean up the unrighteous field and play the role of eliminating the
remaining Communist specters and rotten ghosts.
Master said in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles" in February
2006, "You know, when the band took part in the parades in New York's
Chinatown and Flushing areas, on both occasions I saw this scene: When
the band was playing, the energy they emitted was tremendous. Be it the
energy emitted, the sounds you made, or the music and notes themselves,
they all had the effect of validating the Fa and sending out energy.
"That day during the Chinatown parade, countless gods in every
dimension of the heavens--gods filling the sky--were beating military
drums. And many, many heavenly soldiers and generals were charging
forward. And the energy emitted as Dafa disciples played the wind
instruments was very powerful. You've seen in the movies how the blast
waves produced by the explosion of an atomic bomb are huge, right?
Well, [the energy emitted] was even more powerful than that. (Applause)
That's because the components of the energy emitted by the Dafa
disciples were bigger than atoms, and the particles at every level of
it were all very powerful. In other words, at the time, whenever the
sound came forth a large area was covered in bright light. It takes
some time for the blast of an atomic bomb to end, and then the blast
waves generate a huge dust storm, right? And the area becomes clean
only after the dust storm dies down. [In our case,] the area became
clean instantly. And then far away from the bright lights there was a
huge amount of smoke and dust from the blast, and as the music
continued to be played the bright lights rapidly intensified. Quickly
the area became clean again, and smoke and dust continually rose up in
the distance. Wherever the bright lights reached, it became clean."
Actually the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular is very significant,
and beyond the imagination of our human notions. People are
waiting to connect with their predestined relationships and waiting to
see the big drama at the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular.
Master has arranged everything. What's missing is that we haven't
enhanced our group understanding and haven't caught up with Master's
arrangements in our efforts.
During our project, whenever there are difficulties or interference, no
matter which issues we come across, we should stay clear-headed and
treat them with righteous thoughts. Especially at the moment when
the issue comes up, we shouldn't be self-centered. We should
first think of others, sentient beings and the one body. We
should truly dissolve ourselves into the group and act with
wholehearted efforts. Holding Master and Fa dear in our heart, we
will be able to resolve everything.
No matter whether the situation looks good or bad, solid Fa study is
the foremost and fundamental issue. Our wisdom comes from the
Fa. When we study the Fa well and improve our xinxing,
Master opens up our wisdom, and we will be able to achieve the same
result with less effort. We can spontaneously form teams and
study the Fa before doing things. On the premise of the
fundamental necessity of Fa study, we can help and supplement each
other and truly play the role of Fa-rectification Dafa disciples.
Placing Fa study as the first priority, understanding the Fa from the
perspective of the Fa, and solidly taking actions are therefore most
important. If some fellow practitioners are attached to the
project of distributing flyers in theatres or making telemarketing
calls per se, the efforts stay on the level of formality and won't
truly perform the function of saving sentient beings.
One of the purposes of promoting tickets is to sell the tickets.
However, we cannot simply look at it on the level of promoting tickets
itself. The intentions we carry will determine the results.
If we are attached to the fact that the project is going to be
difficult, then the project will indeed become very difficult. If
some fellow practitioners or project coordinators are attached to
discussing the project as being for the sake of merely promoting
tickets, then the wicked beings will take advantage of it and keep us
stuck in discussions. However, the tickets will not be easy to
sell.
If we cannot discern the truth from delusions, we may be stuck in the
false and be interfered with by it. We therefore need to think
beyond the various projects and look at the core of the issue.
Everything is for saving all beings. And, they are waiting for
every single seat in the theatres that has been arranged for them so
they can understand the truth.
Let's step out more, tell more people the truth, and ask them to go see
the Spectacular by buying tickets. If we go directly for our
ultimate goal, things will be easier and the impact will be better.
One way is to apply for or lease vending spots in schools,
supermarkets, Chinatown, hotels and bus stations at Chinatown,
libraries and so on to promote tickets. We can face sentient
beings directly through these spots and offer an opportunity for the
sentient beings to find us.
