Our Strength Is in our Minds

While the evil forces are using the most vicious physical means in their power to run counter to the Fa rectification in this dimension, our strength is in our minds, in another dimension that the evil forces can never reach if we don’t allow them.

As we can see, nowadays the evil old forces are pulling out all the stops. They are uniting behind guns, tools of torture, financial pressure, jails intended for criminals, mental hospitals, crooked courts, propaganda campaigns, and the like, from physical to psychological means, to obstruct to the progress of the Fa-rectification. All of these means belong to this world. They are tools that keep humans within the three realms. “Human society is a good place for cultivation, since everything here can induce attachments. Precisely because of this, a person who is able to step out of it and get rid of all his attachments to human society is magnificent and is able to reach Consummation.” (“No Politics”). But even if the dark forces of evil support them, they are still sentient beings and cannot fight the truth of the cosmos. Even if they are superficially penetrating many levels and creating darkness in those areas for a period of time, they still cannot go beyond the eternal light, the Fa of the universe, the Tao which creates sentient beings at every level and is the origin of everything, every life.

Our strength, on the contrary, belongs to another, much higher and broader, dimension. Our minds are connected precisely to the Tao, the light of the universe, the Fa of the cosmos. We resist them with endurance because of compassion, like a parent in front of turbulent children patiently waiting for them to grow up. We face them with determination because when a child becomes too ugly, it needs some education and discipline. That is what Dafa disciples are doing. The persecution cannot be allowed to persevere any more. It is still rampant because Dafa disciples are enlightened to yet different levels and are progressing steadfastly towards their consummation. “Consummation is the conclusion of cultivation, and Fa-rectification is the great responsibility history has bestowed upon you during the Fa-rectification period.” (“To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference”). In so far as Dafa disciples have not reached consummation, the Fa-rectification is not yet finished; conversely, in so far as the Fa-rectification is not yet finished, Dafa disciples have not yet reached consummation.

Evil forces can’t reach us if we don’t allow it. “Since humankind is completely buried in matter, it cannot see the truth of the cosmos. That is why it’s said that the human dimension is a dimension of puzzlement.” (What Are Supernormal Abilities?) A cultivator is not yet aware of his/her God or Buddha nature, so his/her lifestyle is complying with the human environment: work, home life, expenses, and all the rest. Because of the influence of these, the forces that have power over them have power over the unaware cultivators, because they allow it. These material things affect their righteous thoughts and make their mind deviate because of the notions acquired in the low dimensions after birth. The quality of enlightenment of a person can be measured by his/her control over his/her own mind in the face of this two dimensional world. Fortunately, we have our Master and his teachings, which guide us in the improvement of our enlightenment quality, especially in this present crisis situation. “During this period, we should focus on how we can seize this opportunity to truly demonstrate the extraordinariness and the great mighty virtue of a cultivator. This is also a precious opportunity. Since the old evil forces insist on giving us a chance to eliminate them, make good use of it. History has never seen this before, it’s hard to come by.” (“Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference”)

This is a really great opportunity that helps us break through our human shell. When will such an opportunity come again? Maybe not in ten thousand years. “There is no precedent, there is no example to follow” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference”). Fa-rectification in this dimension is waiting for every Dafa disciple who has a predestined relationship to attain his/her consummation to step forward so as to break through his/her humanness and become again a Buddha, a God, a Tao, a magnificent being with the incomparable radiance of the truth of the universe. “You can’t do Dafa work without studying the Fa, or it would be an everyday person doing Dafa work. It has to be Dafa disciples who do Dafa work – this is something required of all of you…. because your consummation is first and foremost.” (“Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, DC, International Conference”)

While we are studying the Fa to keep our minds shining with the Fa and doing all that a Dafa disciple should do to be a worthy Dafa particle, the Fa-rectification of the cosmos is being accomplished, as are our consummations and our vows, too. “The evil ones should think twice about their flagrant savagery, When heaven and earth are bright again, down to the boiling cauldron they go, Punches and kicks cannot change people’s heart, Violent winds usher in an autumn with even harsher chill” (“The Chill of Autumn’s Winds”).

Our strength is in our minds. It is in our righteous minds and hearts. Would we know that, all evils would be eliminated in the twinkle of an eye.
