For a long time, my understanding of "looking inside oneself when encountering problems" remained very superficial. When a tribulation arose I always looked at and blamed others. Afterwards, when I calmed down, I would eventually realize that I hadn't at all taken the time to look inside myself, especially while the conflict had been taking place. As a consequence, I have been carrying out Fa-rectification work with attachments. Since I myself was not pure, the outcome of my Fa-rectification work could not be pure or righteous either.
Recently, I have been continuing to send forth righteous thoughts at the top of every hour. Since I started doing this I have found that my own dimensional field(s) was not pure. This has severely interfered with my Fa-rectification cultivation. Therefore, during the five minutes of clearing my own field I added the intention of looking inward. At first I didn't notice anything different, but as I continuously added stronger and purer righteous thoughts to look inward, my body was revealed to me dimension by dimension. An enormous world with countless living beings was there right in front of me. I followed Teacher's instruction of "thinking about eliminating the bad thoughts, karma, bad notions, and external interference in their minds" (From "Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference", in Guiding the Voyage). As I sent forth righteous thoughts, I saw the evil beings inside myself running, trying to escape, as they were yelling, "Quick, run, Fa-rectification has arrived." Then as I said, "perish" the evil that ran out was disintegrated into black water. The evil beings that didn't run shouted, "Don't run, it's not safe outside, either. We should hide here. If he can't find us, we will be safer here inside his body." Meanwhile, I reminded myself that "Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts are powerful" (In Essentials for Further Advancement II), "However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is" and "indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos' Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies," (From "Also in a Few Words" in Essentials for Further Advancement II).
I then told myself to "cast all the beings created from my notions, karma and bad thoughts into the gate of no-life." After that I saw the evil beings running for their lives in several different dimensional fields. I led them to a dimension that I had transformed, and when they entered it I could hear them say, "How come we've never seen this dimension before?" I waited until all the evil beings entered this dimension, then I sent out a pure thought to eliminate them and they were all disintegrated.
During another time, while maintaining the intention to look inward, I saw a degenerate-looking being that was shaped like a finger that kept pointing. I suddenly remembered how I often accuse others, comment about others and point my finger at others. I then had the understanding that everything has its origin and its forms of existence manifest differently in different dimensions. After I removed it at its root, I experienced an inner peace and calmness that is beyond description by any words.
The word "attachment" is two words in our dimension [two characters in Chinese], but in other dimensions it exists as various different degenerate beings. The old forces are using evil beings to take advantage of practitioners' attachments, bad notions and bad thoughts in order to persecute Dafa and Dafa practitioners. All of this is reflected in our own enormous bodies. The Fa-principles tell us to "look inside ourselves," but, in fact, in other dimensions it's actually purifying and rectifying our dimensions within our own bodies. Sending forth righteous thoughts is allowing us to break away from the old forces' arrangements and the old cosmos' principles. Subsequently, everything can return to the purity and righteousness of the original cosmos when it was first created.
When I first started sending forth righteous thoughts, I would always eliminate the old forces that participated in the persecution of Dafa, and I didn't spare a single one of them. Later, my understanding of the Fa changed. "We save all salvageable beings during Fa rectification. If we eliminate every being, who would be left to save?" In my heart, I have learned to restrain myself. During Fa-rectification, some old forces would often accusatively ask me questions. I would try and answer them according to the Fa. Some of them truly wanted to come and assimilate to Dafa, and after explaining the Fa to them they stopped obstructing Fa-rectification. However, this proportion of beings was only a small minority.
Once, I entered a dimension during sending forth righteous thoughts, and the old forces stood in front of me like a wall. They asked me what I was going to do with them. I said, "I won't do anything with you. I just want to tell you that Fa-rectification is making its way through the cosmos and all beings are positioning themselves during Fa-rectification. The cosmos is made up of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Assimilating to Dafa is truly the only way out." After a group discussion, they said to me, "We would like to assimilate to Dafa, but will you accept us?" "I'll accept all beings that want to assimilate to Dafa." However, just as I extended my arms out and was ready to take them, Teacher's Law Body suddenly appeared. Immediately, I saw in them something fierce and disrespectful. "I cannot allow you to be disrespectful to my Teacher." As this thought came out, they were eliminated.
At another time, one of the old forces was standing in front of me and he was being extremely cold and indifferent. No matter what I said he always said, "Fa-rectification has nothing to do with me." I said, "Look, the righteous beings in the Three Realms are suffering such brutality." He said, indifferently, "Those are all human beings." My heart became filled with infinite benevolence and sorrow. I remembered what Teacher said, "Looking after heavenly suffering." (Hong Yin) My tears burst out the moment I eliminated him. From learning the Fa, I have come to understand that the old forces are the root problem that we must overcome during Fa rectification. However, where are the old forces? Many practitioners constantly look outward, while in actuality they are inside ourselves and our own bodies. The various incorrect states that we display during Fa-rectification are actually the specific manifestations of these beings. Laziness, indifference, disrespect for Teacher and Dafa, all these things, are the manifestations of these beings in these dimensions. Only by continuously "looking inside ourselves" can we truly remove these deviated beings from the root. Only then can we truly melt into the Fa, assimilate to the Fa and complete our Fa rectification missions.
