[PureInsight.org] After April 25, 1999, Master published "True Nature Revealed" (Essentials for Further Advancement II):
"Steadfastly cultivate Dafa, the will unflinching
The raising of levels is what's fundamental
In the face of tests one's true nature is revealed
Achieve Consummation, becoming a Buddha, Dao, or God"
For nine years, practitioners in Mainland China have experienced
countless tests to see whether they have cultivated steadfastly.
When we studied Fa a lot and really looked inwards, many tests could be
passed easily and many evil interferences were negated. When we
studied Fa less and our hearts were filled with issues of personal loss
or gain and various human notions, we had a difficult time meeting the
standard, and sometimes we stayed in a tribulation for a long
time. I believe that many practitioners feel the same way as I.
In recent days, we studied the Fa all day and sent forth righteous
thoughts frequently. Because of this, I believe that I have gotten rid
of many attachments.
A few days ago, I went to various websites to read predictions about
the Olympics and related news comments. Now I feel that is quite
a human notion!
Whether the evil party hosts the Olympics or disintegrates in a certain
way has nothing to do with our cultivation and validating Dafa.
The evil party has become our biggest hindrance in saving sentient
beings, and therefore, it has become an object for elimination.
Moreover, we should not allow the existence of any evil factors in our
own minds, and we should destroy all evils with our righteous thoughts.
Everything in this world revolves around Dafa. If as Dafa
disciples, our minds are revolving around the events of ordinary
people, I think that is wrong and that is putting the cart before the
horse. What we want to do is to save sentient beings with
compassion. We should keep our hearts within the Fa and remain
unmoved by worldly events. Regardless of if it is more severe
persecution or the extinction of the evil party, we should not be
moved. We must cultivate ourselves steadfastly. We should
not hold on to attachments to time, results, or our personal loss and
gain. No matter what happens or fails to happen, we must regard
ourselves as cultivators, walk the path that Master arranged, and try
our best to do everything that should be done!
