[PureInsight.org] According to a recent report from the Minghui website, on February 23, 2021, Falun Gong practitioners Ding Guochen and Yan Qinghua, a couple in Dalian, received a judgment from the Jinzhou District Court. Ding Guochen was sentenced to two years and fined 5,000 yuan. Yan Qinghua was sentenced to three-and-a-half years and fined 8,000 yuan. Ding Guochen has been in a coma for nearly a month from cerebral hemorrhage due to the persecution.
Ding Guochen, a 50-year-old male, graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology. He was diagnosed with severe hepatitis B for many years and suffered hemiplegia from cerebral thrombosis. In 1996, Ding Guochen, who was 25 years old at the time, started practicing Falun Dafa, and his illness disappeared. Ding Guochen is a good person who follows truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. At work, he is an excellent employee and the technical backbone of the team. At home, he is a good husband and good father. His wife Yan Qinghua practices Falun Dafa with him. They get along with friends and neighbors, and their family is trustworthy.
On July 20, 1999, the Jiang regime of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Dafa. Ding Guochen and his wife Yan Qinghua went to Beijing to clarify the truth about Dafa. As a result, they were unreasonably fired from work. To pay for living and raise their two children, the couple worked long hours running a small business without a stable income. Over the past two decades, they have been subject to various pressures. Their lives have not been easy.
Over the past two years, Ding Guochen started a mathematics tutoring class. He takes every student seriously and has become a trusted teacher upon whom the students rely.
The students were shocked to learn that their math tutor was taken away by the police. How could such a kindhearted teacher be arrested? The children cried for him.
The father of a student Xiaowei said to Yan Qinghua, “Xiaowei cries at home. When his mother asked him to switch to another class, he said, ‘I cannot find such a good teacher anywhere! I do not want to go to another afterschool class. I only want teacher Ding!’”
The students said, “We will never find such a good teacher.”
According to a same-day report on the Minghui website, at least seven Falun Gong practitioners in Dalian were illegally sentenced by the Pulandian City Court in December 2020. Among them, Falun Gong practitioner Du Yongfeng from Xingshu Town, Jinzhou District, Dalian City was illegally sentenced to nine years; Zhang Chunfeng, a Falun Gong practitioner in Xiaochangshan Township, Changhai County, was illegally sentenced to seven years; the rest were sentenced to various terms under four years.
From the evening of July 10 to July 11, 2020, the Public Security Bureau and Political and Legal Committee of Liaoning Province began targeting Falun Gong practitioners in Lushun District, Jinzhou District, Wafangdian City, Pulandian District, Zhuanghe District, and Ganjingzi District by kidnapping practitioners and ransacking their homes. According to incomplete statistics, at least 30 Falun Gong practitioners and their families were kidnapped.
Dalian City is one of the most severely persecuted areas of Falun Gong. Bo Xilai was the vanguard of Jiang Zemin's brutal persecution of Falun Gong and the mastermind who initiated Jiang Zemin's order to harvest organs live. Under Jiang Zemin's instructions, Bo Xilai, Zhou Yongkang, and Xu Caihou plotted a coup for political power to maintain the persecution of Falun Gong. When Bo Xilai was in charge of Liaoning Province, he used prisons, labor camps, etc. to build a living organ bank, which was used for organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners for huge profits. The establishment of two ‘corpse factories’ in Dalian City was extremely cruel. He and his wife Gu Kailai initiated live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners.
According to a recent report from the Minghui website, over the past 21 years, hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in Dalian City have been persecuted by the CCP. Among them, tens of thousands have been illegally interrogated, fined, detained, brainwashed, and imprisoned. According to incomplete statistics, at least 147 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death in Dalian City, and thousands have been sent to drug rehabilitation centers, detention centers, and brainwashing centers. A total of 827 practitioners have been persecuted in illegal labor camps, and 371 practitioners have been illegally sentenced. Many Falun Gong practitioners have been sentenced, kidnapped, imprisoned, detained in labor camps, detained in brainwashing centers, tortured, and even subjected to live organ harvesting. Many families have been tortured to pieces. The persecution continues to this day.
The above information exemplifies the severity of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Dalian, which is among the worst in the country. Dalian City has accumulated many crimes in the history of the persecution of Falun Gong. Even more shocking is that today, 21 years later, the persecution of Falun Gong in Dalian remains extremely severe!
