Our benevolent Master has once again given us and all the people in this world another chance: we are asked to thoroughly clarify the truth to the Chinese people. After taking up cultivation, the people or things that we are interested in are very different from before. The gap between the ordinary society and us has become quite wide, and we have been getting rid of our attachments in this way and moving ahead diligently. Naturally in such a process we have awakened to the boundless essence of Dafa, and together with our fellow cultivators we have felt joy from the bottom of our hearts. In this way we have been protected and cared for by Master. After the sudden change of the situation, we have overcome trials and hardships with our righteous thoughts and firm belief in Dafa. Dafa disciples have become closer to each other. But when it comes to everyday people or even our own family members who do not cultivate, the distance between them and us has kept increasing. However, this is only a part of the process, a process of personal cultivation. We are Fa-rectification disciples. How we should clarify the truth to everyday people has a bearing on how we support Fa rectification at the level of the human world and how we harmonize Dafa. Once, as I was reading the Fa, I thought of Master, and little by little my tears began to fall down like raindrops. In Dafa, I felt like a three-year-old child who just learned how to speak a few words. Benevolent Master has repeatedly and patiently taught me the principles of the cosmos, and tried every way to save me. But I often could not live up to Master’s expectations. I have only vague understandings of the Fa and still make mistakes frequently. Therefore when we clarify the truth, we must use our kind nature and be considerate of others. We should have a benevolent heart all the time.
Thoroughly clarifying the truth is a process that is natural to our cultivation. In particular it can test whether we have a solid understanding of the Fa, whether we can harmonize the Fa in the human world with the wisdom bestowed by Dafa, and whether we are doing things from the viewpoint of the Fa. Therefore, while we cannot only use human words from the same point of view as everyday people, we also shouldn’t speak “high-level things” that cannot be understood by others either. Everything we do, such as TV programs, newspapers, articles, and everything else with the purpose of clarifying the truth to everyday people, should be based on Dafa and should be intended for validating the Fa. We should clarify the truth in the process of validating the Fa. In fact, only in the process of validating Dafa can the truth be clarified. Some may say, aren’t our TV programs meant for everyday people? As long as we try to make the programs varied and interesting, surely we can gradually attract everyday people, right? Yes. However, if the essence of Dafa does not pervade the program, it (the program) will surely not be effective. The reason is because however popular a program is, if the content is of the level of everyday people, then it is at the same level as that of everyday people, just like the relation between qi and qi. “There is no constraint between this qi and that qi.”(From Lecture Seven in Zhuan Falun) Also, we should make full use of our time while doing all this, because we are doing this not for the purpose of enriching the leisure life of everyday people, but for the purpose of saving them. At the same time we are also creating a new civilization for the future mankind. Therefore, only when the essence of Dafa runs through all our activities of clarifying the truth can the power of Dafa manifest itself. What truly makes this work is Dafa. We only serve as a bridge or a medium. Whether it is a program or an article, once it is completed, it is a living being. A “spirit' has to be injected into it. We inject this “spirit.” From the very beginning and throughout the entire process of developing the program, we should be crystal clear that whatever level we are at, we must work from the standpoint of “Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance,” and the content of our product should reflect the essence of Dafa. Only by doing things in this way can we break through the deviated mindset and notions of human beings from different angles. Only then can we “provide what is correct”’ (from “Lunyu” in Zhuan Falun) and clarify the truth. Dafa created everything in the universe. Is there anything not included in it? Every shred of matter in this world, every tree and bush, and every type of culture are related to and covered by Dafa. Our purpose is to clarify the truth about Dafa and to tell everyday people what is correct. Those things that are deviated or unrighteous will then be exposed. The falsehood that misleads people will collapse by itself. From the Fa we have come to know that the human history is one of going downhill and sliding backward. The XX Party has defied logic and distilled a false principle in the minds of Chinese people, namely that the New China would not exist without the Party. A framework around that theory has been set up in the heads of many Chinese people. Many people are confined by it and criticize Dafa within that framework. In fact one sentence will make the theory fail: the new China is far worse than the old China! This point will be made clear if we do a program where we pick a few sets of statistics and make comparison.
Here is one more example. Say that we are doing a cooking show. As cultivators, our job should not be simply telling the ordinary people how to make dishes more nutritious or tasty. If that is all we do, we are wasting a valuable time segment. Then a question may arise: how can a cooking show be related to Dafa? Of course it can. For example, we know that boiling water and cold water are different waters. They differ not only in temperature. They are very different in other dimensions as well. If they are mixed together, there would be a gap between them. This provides an explanation as to why the soup should be simmered at one time and why we cannot add cold water while the hot soup is simmering. Soup cooked in this way would not taste as good. We can also explain why a person feels uncomfortable after drinking hot water that is mixed with cold water. Chinese medicine has many insights about this issue, but they are all at shallow levels. We can clearly see that talking about simmering soup can easily introduce talk about other dimensions, and the topic is lively and interesting. No super chef can understand the principle involved unless he cultivates Dafa. Therefore, as long as we have gone through the process of making progress rationally, we should turn the improved rationality into morning dew to save the human beings in the world. And in this process we elevate and upgrade further, continuously purifying ourselves, much like the process of distilling water. We are definitely not doing the work of everyday people or getting involved in deviated principles or affairs of everyday people. Because we are rectifying the Fa, in whatever we are doing, in whatever environment we are in, we should demonstrate the essence of Dafa to the world, truly fulfilling the purpose of validating Dafa and saving sentient beings.

Spring breeze ushers in the rain to save people
Bear benevolence in mind and harmonize the Fa.
