[PureInsight.org] What kind of mindset should we have towards the Chinese police and staff of the street administration committees who haven't learned and accepted the truth about Falun Dafa?
Some practitioners in China immediately feel defensive when the police or the staff from the street administration committee run into them. They always assume that the police have come to stop them from cultivating Falun Dafa and to persecute practitioners. Due to this mindset, these practitioners' speech and behavior seem hostile. Other practitioners in China, on the other hand, consider these police and street administration staff members as a part of their family. They are not afraid when the police and the street administration staff stop by to see them. They think, "Since they come and see me, it is an opportunity to clarify the truth, because they are also sentient beings that we need to save."
Teacher said:
...every person in the entire world was at one point part of my family (applause), including the worst people, or else they'd have no chance to be a human being during this time. What happened in history is what they have gone through and what they chose for themselves. The most despicable are the old forces. They dare to massacre my people at will since they don't belong to them. What's held in Master's heart are all the people there are. (applause)

We should not make distinctions among the world's people. We can't treat them differently because of their jobs. We should tolerate all of them with an open and generous heart, and treat them with compassion. We must be clear about one thing: We are the protagonists in the Fa-rectification, and we are sentient beings' only, sole hope for salvation. Although it was arranged for these government officials to test Dafa, we should not deny their roles because we say we do not acknowledge the old forces' arrangements. No matter how much we claim that we refuse to acknowledge or cooperate with the old forces' arrangements, we will still be:
Foolishly absorbed in what unfolds in the play...

Therefore, regardless of these peoples' jobs, or even if they have hunted us or arrested us under their superiors' orders, we should still offer them another opportunity to choose their future as long as they are still human beings In addition, their knowing side must be anxious to know the truth about Falun Dafa. Of course it may be very difficult to clarify the truth to them, because Jiang Zemin is manipulating these people with monetary incentives, job security, and promotions. Therefore, when we clarify the truth to them we must also take into consideration their individual ability to accept the facts and tolerate their attachments to tangible benefits. By doing so, we will also be manifesting Dafa practitioners' consideration for others, as well as our righteous enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. If we can truly achieve this, our compassion will surely move most of these Chinese government employees.
"No pain, no gain." Although it's not easy to clarify the truth to them, once we fully clarify the truth, the results are especially good. Actually, some practitioners have been persisting in clarifying the truth to the Chinese police and street administration staff. As a result, some of them have changed their professions; some have stopping persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners; some have begun to care about us, and make excuses at work to send us alerts of imminent danger; and some have even started practicing Falun Gong in their homes. It is just like what Teacher said:
That's why I said before that I turned the tables and made use of the old forces' arrangement.
(From Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference" in Guiding the Voyage) Some of the police and street administration staff are using their work positions to help and protect Dafa practitioners, building a good foundation for their own future.
Teacher didn't only spread Falun Dafa to cultivators in the Fa-rectification period. Falun Dafa is meant to save all sentient beings. It is my understanding that the Chinese police and street administration staff will survive and may even have the opportunity to become Falun Dafa practitioners with the advent of Fa-rectification in the human realm, if they eliminate their hostility towards Falun Dafa and stop assisting in the persecution. For the future of these Chinese government officials who may have been a part of our family, we should expand our kindness and compassion from our cultivation through truth-clarification. The environment in China will continue to improve as long as each Falun Dafa practitioner does well by following Teacher's Fa.
