In order to thoroughly eliminate the arrangements of the old forces, to ensure a peaceful period of time before the Fa rectifies the human realm, and to offer salvation to sentient beings, Dafa practitioners worldwide have increased the frequency of sending righteous thoughts from three times every Sunday to four times daily. In addition, when we send forth righteous thoughts, we aim directly at the forces sustaining the chief embodiment of evil.
However, some practitioners, especially those in Mainland China, still hold fast to distorted notions from the political movements in China in the 1960's and 70's. These old notions prevent them from truly understanding the meaning of eliminating the head of the evil. They think it is no use eliminating the head of the evil because his successor is likely to be the same. After all, despite the changes in leadership, there has been virtually no political reform in China as a result of past political movements. Consequently, these practitioners doubt the likelihood of restoring the cultivation environment in Mainland China to what it was before July 20, 1999, or of securing a period of time for peaceful Fa study and practice. In short, they believe nothing can be altered under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party. Could the future really depend on the decisions of the Chinese Communist Party as these practitioners think?
In fact, Master Li has explicitly mentioned similar problems in The North America Lecture Tour: "But the key is how Dafa disciples should look at things. If one person thinks this way or two people think this way, it is not a problem. If Dafa disciples all think like this, then it is a problem. Do you remember that before April 25th of 1999, hadn't that premier of China had a positive opinion of Dafa? When students went to appeal on April 25th, he also met with Dafa disciples and said very good things. Because of that, after this persecution started, some students developed many human thoughts, so they thought, 'Let the head of the evil in Mainland China die earlier. Let it collapse so that the Premier can take its place. With the Premier in power, wouldn't our name be cleared?' Have you thought of the fact that this is the Fa of the cosmos? How could people just beat you at will? How could they just clear your name at will? Humans are not worthy! How could you pin your hopes on an everyday person? You are Dafa disciples! Each of you Dafa disciples represents an extremely enormous dimension. What does humankind amount to? It is only that the old forces are using it and have sealed off your even greater powers. How could you think of things that way? When you all think that way, the old forces see it, 'How can they have thoughts like that? This thinking has to be removed, so we'll just turn that premier bad. We would rather to turn him bad in order to eliminate their human thoughts.' Isn't it the case?"
Master Li has also explicitly mentioned in some other lectures that humans have always wanted to decide their future, but have never been able to do so. Gods have arranged everything in the human realm; hence, human history has been developing according to Gods' plan. When the practitioners believe that Jiang's successor will continue to persecute Falun Gong practitioners to guarantee the rule of the Chinese Communist Party, they are judging Gods' intentions by their human thinking. They still depend on ordinary people for the termination of the persecution of Falun Dafa. How can Dafa practitioners hold such notions?
It must be perfectly clear to us that the fanatic persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China cannot be the work of any political party, or of anyone in this dimension. No human being is capable of persecuting the Fa. It may appear that the persecution is the work of the evil police; however, they are nothing but tools and puppets manipulated by the evil entities in the Three Realms as well as the old forces in higher dimensions. Mere human beings are not capable of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. A sentient being is extremely weak in front of a Dafa practitioner. We must be perfectly clear about who drives the persecution against Falun Dafa. It is the evil from other dimensions that we are battling. It is the evil from other dimensions that is manipulating ordinary people to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners.
The evil environment in Mainland China is the work of the old forces. We must refuse to acknowledge their arrangement. Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period definitely have the power to overcome the arrangements by the old forces and redesign the future. In other words, whether we can secure a peaceful period before the Fa rectifies the human realm does not depend on the old forces or on any ordinary humans. It completely depends on how we Dafa disciples think. All of us should be completely immersed in the Fa when we send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the forces behind the chief puppet of the evil so we may have a secure and peaceful period to offer salvation to all sentient beings before the Fa rectifies the human realm.
