[PureInsight.org] Within two weeks from the end of May to June 11, over 3,946 Falun Gong practitioners, including those exiled due to the persecution, and their families submitted legal documents and evidence to the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court to prosecute the former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) chief Jiang Zemin.
Jiang Zemin’s initiative at July 20, 1999 has led to 16 years of brutal persecution against mainland Falun Gong practitioners. To stop the persecution, punish the evil, uphold justice and let more people know the truth that Falun Dafa is good, Falun Gong practitioners all over the mainland prosecuted the culprit Jiang Zemin since May. They also urged the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate to file and investigate.
Within two weeks, the Minghui website received 3,245 indictment copies against Jiang Zemin from Falun Gong practitioners. A total of 3,946 Chinese citizens accused Jiang Zemin for the harm that his crimes caused them. These are only a few of the actual ongoing indictment cases. Many Falun Gong practitioners sent handwritten indictments to the relevant departments. They cannot send messages to the Media due to difficulties with computer operation, information leakage, network blockade, etc.
Copies of the criminal indictment have been received from 25 provinces and autonomous regions including Hebei, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Shandong, Hunan, Sichuan, Henan, Hubei, Anhui, Gansu, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Qinghai, Jiangxi, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Ningxia, Zhejiang, Yunnan , Fujian, Guizhou, Guangxi, Xinjiang, four municipalities including Tianjin, Chongqing, Beijing, Shanghai and over 1,390 counties. Meanwhile, some exiled Falun Gong practitioners also prosecuted Jiang Zemin at the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate from the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia and other countries.
Prosecutors Come from All Levels of Society
Mainland Falun Gong practitioners who filed indictment cases come from all walks of life including judges, government officials, soldiers, police officers, university professors, lecturers, artists, engineers, doctors, company employees, workers and farmers.
Falun Gong practitioner Sun Linghua, former first class judge at Yi county court in Jinzhou city, Liaoning Province, mailed an indictment against Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate through express mail on the morning of June 8.
Wang Zaiyuan, an associate professor at Nanjing University’s Chinese Department, and his wife, a physician at Nanjing Children's Hospital, sued Jiang Zemin. Because he practices Falun Dafa, seventy-two-year-old Wang Zaiyuan has been kidnapped three times, raided three times, thrown into the brainwashing camp twice and illegal reeducation through labor for two years.
Qingdao’s famous calligrapher Liu Xitong and his wife Liu Aifang sue Jiang Zemin.
Wang Tan, senior engineer and former deputy director-general of Hebei Metallurgical Industry department, Hebei Metallurgical Industry Office director (deputy departmental level), was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment during the persecution of Falun Gong. He had no income and was deprived of endowment insurance and health insurance, which are supposed to be accessible for everyone.
Falun Gong Practitioners and Their Families Request Severe Punishment for the Culprit of the Persecution
Many families were destroyed because their family members who insisted on practicing Falun Gong were persecuted to disabilities or death by Jiang’s faction. Family members experienced deep psychological pains and thus requested severe punishment for the culprit.
On May 31, sixty-six-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Yu Baozhen from Nanchang city mailed an indictment to the Supreme People's Procuratorate suing Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution against Falun Gong. Her only son was killed during the persecution, leaving her with just a three-year-old daughter.
Falun Gong practitioner Gai Xiuqin and her husband Lu Guanglin from Qingyuan County in Fushun City, Liaoning Province were illegally sentenced to thirteen years and eight years of imprisonment respectively.
Her husband was tortured to death in prison at Panjin jail. Gai Xiuqin was tortured so severely at Liaoning Women’s Jail that she lost her ability to work. Gai Xiuqin requested the Procuratorate to file and investigate all criminal responsibilities of the culprit Jiang Zemin.
Evil Forces Cannot Stop the People’s Common Aspiration
In an attempt to escape punishment and guilt, the culprit Jiang Zemin and his followers have recently attempted to stop the Falun Gong practitioners from suing Jiang Zemin and persecute them.
On May 30, police from Jinchang city, Gansu province illegally and publicly kidnapped the Falun Gong practitioners who mailed an indictment.
On June 4, police from Deyang city, Sichuan province intercepted and kidnapped Falun Gong practitioners at the post office.
On June 13, police from several different stations took away a few Falun Gong practitioners after breaking into and raiding their houses. These Falun Gong practitioners just posted the information on the Minghui website regarding Jiang Zemin’s indictment.
Even under such threat and persecution, the indictments against Jiang Zemin are still being steadily sent to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the courts. More Falun Gong practitioners have begun taking legal action to sue Jiang Zemin. Within two weeks, despite the local policemen kidnapping and raiding Falun Gong practitioners in these three cities, there were still many indictment cases: Jinchang city, Gansu province has 24 cases (34 accusers), Deyang city, Sichuan province has 38 cases (41 people), Lianyungang city, Jiangsu province has 26 cases.
The Chinese people despise Jiang Zemin’s numerous crimes. When people heard the news of the indictments against Jiang, they all agreed. Some post office staff applauded in agreement after listening to Falun Gong practitioners’ indictments. Some people said, "Jiang Zemin should be sentenced because he did all kinds of evil things!" "The country should set off firecrackers at the trial!"
