July 20 is here once again
An assembly of divine messengers
Converges before the towering monument at the U.S. capital
Holding up hallowed numinous candles in dignified silence
To irradiate the four magnificent words
"Fa Rectifying the Universe”
July 20, sixteen years ago
The prophesized "July devil" unleashed its frenzy on Mainland China
With the futile intent of eradicating "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance"
All at once, everything was blanketed in darkness and turbulent storms
With Jiang, the buffoonish toad, much carried away, roaming rampant at will
However
Across the ocean
From then on, candles were lit one after another
Each a beacon of the heart
Safeguarding the dignity of heaven and earth
Quietly illuminating the entire world
For sixteen years
The candlelight still shines
Take a look
The mighty devil back then
Is now but a coyote cowering like a tortoise with its head tucked in
The “Sue Jiang” tidal wave, with raging winds and scudding clouds
Is calling out for justice
Awakening the conscience
"Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" are laws of the universe
While Jiang is a mantis trying to block the wheel of a cart, overrating himself

The candlelight still shines

Amidst clarifying the truth and saving people
People are awakening
Their hearts are transforming
Evil lies are poked full of holes
The evildoers are exposed
Lives are thankful, proclaiming "Falun Dafa is good!"
The benevolent force of righteous belief is spreading to every living being

Babbling babies then are all grown up now
They have learned well the meaning of truthfulness, compassion, and gentle kindness
Sustained by faith passed on from the light of these candles
With the older generation's blessings
The children are already all packed up
And embarking on the journey to save people
This heritage of faith
Transcends time and space
Stemming from vows made in the far distant past
Forging this life’s sacred predestined relationships
July 20 is here once again
The wax is still the same kind of wax
The Candles are the same type of candles
The candlelight is faint
Yet
Each time a candle is lit
Its light accrues a bit more of the divine
Each time a candle is lit
Our hearts are illuminated with a bit more brightness
Each time a candle is lit
"Fa Rectifying the Universe" approaches closer and closer
