[PureInsight.org] On March 11 around 10 PM, I was driving on highway Route-87. Shortly after my car left New Jersey and entered New York, I suddenly heard an explosion on the left rear side of my car, causing my car to immediately jump. I thought maybe an axle had broken, so I slowed down and pulled my car to the roadside. After I stopped my car, I found that the left rear tire was flat. I had been driving at around 65 miles per hour, so it was certainly a very dangerous event for a tire to burst while driving at such a high speed.
I then also noticed that there was a big hole in the rear bumper, which was obviously a result of the sudden tire burst. You can imagine how powerful it must have been for my tire to burst on the highway. We all know that a tire bursting while driving on the highway is one of the most dangerous events. Without Honorable Master’s protection, I cannot imagine what could have happened to me. Master really helped me eliminate a big chunk of karma. I also know that this event was an alert for my personal cultivation.
I began to reflect upon myself and then came to realize that I had become too complacent without myself recently. I didn’t get up in the morning to do the exercises and many attachments popped up in my mind, which I sometimes had trouble controlling. I definitely had a big leak with regards to my cultivation.
I am writing down this story here to thank Honorable Master’s compassion and the power of Falun Dafa. I also intend to remind myself of the seriousness of cultivation. Only through diligent cultivation can I return my gratitude to Master.
