I¡¯m an accountant in mainland, China. In 1996, I was diagnosed with acute leukemia, which meant that I was sentenced to death without a reprieve. The only way for me to survive was by following the doctor¡¯s prescription exactly and taking chemotherapy regularly. After two periods of chemotherapy treatment, I was too weak to stand up and walk. My black hair had disappeared. I needed attendance day and night; I even needed help to drink and eat. I lost the capability to take care of myself thoroughly. Each chemotherapy treatment would threaten my life, because the medicine used was poison. I couldn¡¯t bear the torture from this illness; and I didn¡¯t want to live in such way that life, to me, was much more painful than death.
At the end of August, 1996, when I was still struggling and in despair, I obtained the ¡°Falun Dafa¡±. Since I got this fatal illness, I had no energy to read and write, even to write my name. But I could read Zhuan Falun one lecture every day. Master Li mentioned in the book: ¡°I do not talk about healing illness here, and neither will we heal illness. As a genuine practitioner, however, you cannot practice cultivation with an ill body. I will purify your body. The body purification will be done only for those who come to truly learn the practice and the Fa. We emphasize one point: If you cannot relinquish the attachment or concern for illness, we cannot do anything and will be unable to help you.¡± By improving understanding of the Fa and Xinxing, persevering in practicing, and treating myself as a true practitioner; eventually, my staunchness on Dafa beat the sufferings which illness brought to me. Gradually, I threw away the thought that I must take chemotherapy to cure my leukemia. Just like Master Li said: ¡°True Dafa practitioners will undergo the same experiences by reading this book, and they will be able to obtain whatever they deserve all the same.¡±
At the end of July, 1997, I took a comprehensive bone marrow test. All of the results were normal. It was Master Li¡¯s benevolent compassion and the power of Dafa that brought me back from Death¡¯s hand.
After four months practicing Falun Dafa, I no longer took the chemotherapy treatment and medicine. I didn¡¯t take a penny from government for my medical expenses. Since then, I have worked full time, and have not asked for any sick leave. Now, I have recovered completely. I¡¯m full of energy; and I have a healthy body with a ruddy complexion. Also the black hair came back on my head. My friends told me that I have changed from the head to toe; and that I look even younger and stronger than before. It was Master Li that saved my life. It was Falun Dafa that gave me a second life and made me reborn.
