About 8 in the morning of October 28th, truth-clarifying activities and sending forth righteous thoughts in Mexico were coming to an end. Six Dafa practitioners, four from Los Angeles, one from Albania and one from England, came to San José del Cabo Airport (SJD) to board their plane for Dallas, Texas. We had heard that buses of the Chinese delegation would arrive at the airport at about the same time. As one of the LA practitioners was returning to the boarding gate from the rental car drop-off, he saw the Chinese delegation buses. He stood by himself on the side of the road, and opened a banner, which proclaimed, "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong!" At the boarding gate, he told the rest of us what he did. We then decided that the Albanian and English practitioners would stay in line and watch our luggage, while the four LA practitioners would find the Chinese delegation and look for opportunities to clarify the truth.
However, the police closed the public hallway and wouldn't allow any passengers in. When the LA practitioners asked an airport worker which gate the Chinese delegation would use, other airport people told them to stop looking for it. Since we could not get closer to that gate, and our plane was starting to board, all six of us checked in and prepared to board. At that point, there was 30 minutes left before departure. When we walked out of the waiting area, we saw the Chinese plane docking at the left side of the airport. Many people from the Chinese delegation were waiting to board the plane. As soon as we saw this, we six quickly formed a line and started to send forth righteous thoughts with our right hands held erect. The LA disciple again opened the yellow banner, which read "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong." Under the shining sun and blue sky, the yellow Dafa banner and the yellow shirts of Dafa practitioners were very striking against the backdrop of the black tarmac, drawing the attention of many passengers and airport personnel. About a minute later, a few Mexican policemen walked towards us, followed by two of the Chinese delegation. One policeman said politely to us, "Please get on board. Your plane is leaving soon." The two Chinese waved their hands telling us to keep away from them, although we did not move at all. In order to lessen the pressure on the Mexican policemen, we backed up and went to board, while we shouted in Chinese, "Falun Dafa is good!" "For your everlasting life, please remember: Falun Dafa is good!" "The Fa rectifies the cosmos!" The English practitioner also told the police in English that Falun Dafa is peaceful, but is being persecuted by Jiang Zemin, that Falun Dafa is good, and so on. The policeman said he knew. After validating Dafa, we boarded the plane and peacefully started the return trip.
