[PureInsight.org] In 1999, the Chinese Communist Party launched a brutal persecution against Falun Gong lasting over 19 years to date. Nonetheless, Falun Gong has spread to over 100 countries and regions across the world. In the colleges, middle schools, elementary schools, and even preschools of many countries, teachers and students alike uphold "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance", and both cultivate and practice Falun Gong.
For over 10 years, Falun Gong practitioners across the world have introduced Falun Gong to schools in both the East and West through holding seminars, photo and art exhibits, movies, presentations, and exercise-teaching classes. These forms were widely accepted by teachers and students alike, and some instructors even established Falun Gong classes on campus grounds. In some schools, one can see the grand scene of some thousand students and teachers practicing the exercises together.
Falun Gong was introduced to China in Changchun in May 1992 by founder Mr. Li Hongzhi. In seven short years, 100 million people walked onto the path of cultivation. Cultivators adhere by the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance", and while improving their moral standard, also obtain healthy bodies, hereby benefiting both families and society.
Falun Gong has also received great recognition on the international level, having received over 3500 awards and accolades across the world. Mr. Li Hongzhi’s principal work Zhuan Falun, —alongside over 40 other works, have been translated to over 40 languages and are distributed worldwide. In 2007’s “Top 100 Living Geniuses” list, Mr. Li Hongzhi was ranked number 12; he has also been nominated four times for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The following summarizes Falun Gong's introduction to 82 colleges, middle schools, and elementary schools, and three preschools across 22 countries in the continents of Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, and the Americas.
