Cold Light
A cold light burning
and freedom yearning
with many a voice
bearing silence
from a bitter reign.
A cold rule ending
and darkness descending
with many a heart
bearing truth
from a 'party's' shame.
Light on the Horizon
Light on the horizon
light inside the heart
shining above the shadows
'one voice' no longer apart.
Light of a new day
light beyond the walls
shining across China
sounding freedom for all.
Light through clouded skies
light upon land and shore
shining into empty corridors
opening every door.
