[PureInsight.org] I am a new practitioner in Taiwan and I have cultivated for two years. Here I would like to share a dream that I had several days ago.
I joined a news media project recently. It requires hard work, but I like it very much. One night I had many dreams; I still remember one of them clearly. There was a big valley with a giant open space. A large scale performance was being held, and high above from the sky, I could see people everywhere. After a while, someone on the stage announced, “The next program is brought to you by the organiza-tion of Falun Dafa ... agency [I did not remember the exact agency name].” With those words, everyone applauded. It was not like a concert, since there were many more people—all over the mountain and the valley. It was a grand scene. Then I saw some young practitioners dressed in clothing with the words, “Falun Dafa is good.” They came off the stage and celebrated together with the audience. Later, everyone was calling aloud, “Falun Dafa is good,” “Falun Dafa is good,” one after another, from those on the stage to everyone in the entire area. It was very loud and very touching. When I woke up, it was as if I could still hear the words. I was in tears.
After waking up, at first I did not know what it meant. Then I thought that Master was encouraging me and it might be a scene from when the Fa rectifies the human world. In Essentials for Further Ad-vancement II, Master said, “The Fa-rectification moves through the world, the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas unfolds, and all of the chaotic world’s unrighted wrongs and karmic relationships are settled with benevolent solutions. The ones who do evil against Dafa go down into the gate of no-life. As for all the others, people’s hearts return to righteousness and they cherish virtue and do good, all the myriad things are renewed, and every single sentient being reveres Dafa’s saving grace. All of the heavens and the earth celebrate together, congratulate each other, and exalt together. Dafa’s most glorious period in the human world begins at this moment.” (“Fortelling the Fa’s Rectification of the Human World”)
From the dream, I also thought about my current cultivation. Through studying Master's recent article “What is a Dafa Disciple,” we know some practitioners in the international society have slacked off. This means that I need to be strict with myself, study the Fa well, and look inward. After joining the media project recently, I have realized that my cultivation environment is very different from the past. In other words, it was too easy for me in the past. Despite the hardships these days, especially when facing xinxing conflicts, I realised that I have been improving quickly when doing things according to the Fa. Sometimes, I wanted to distance myself from the conflicts, but then I remember Master’s words in “Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York,” “When cultivators do Dafa work, they don't seek ordinary blessings or a good life; the thing that is most important [to them] is raising their level.” So I often remind myself to think about things differently and treat tribulations as opportunities to improve.
When I first joined the media project, I observed many conflicts between practitioners including some intense ones. At the beginning, I was frightened and did not realize that it was such a complicated envi-ronment. Then I remembered Master’s words, “When you are working together and experience friction, it is because of human attachments. That is part of one’s cultivation state and process, and absolutely not because someone is truly no good. A person’s good side can’t be seen anymore, as it has been sepa-rated. What you see will always be the side that has not been cultivated yet. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a compassionate heart, or should look at people in rigid ways. I’ve said again and again that you cannot see a cultivator’s good side. That side is simply terrific, and has met the standard. And what does it mean to ‘meet the standard’? It is the standard of a god. Whereas the part of him that hasn’t been successfully cultivated yet, that part is going to seem worse as it works its way up and gets closer to the surface. But, maybe that person has cultivated very well. I hope that you all cherish your-selves, cherish others, and cherish this environment that you have. Cherishing the path that you travel is cherishing yourselves” (“What is a Dafa Disciple”). Thinking of that, I came to understand that I should not have negative feelings toward other practitioners. Gradually, the capacity of my heart has increased.
Nonetheless, I do think that time is limited. So we have to cooperate with each other well, so that we can do better in saving sentient beings.
I remember reading an article in the past. It was written by a practitioner whose celestial eye was open. The article said that the people we encounter everyday—including those who we pass by on the street—have deep karmic relationships with us. Then, if we are all Dafa practitioners and are working on the same project, we must have great predestined relationships with each other. We have to cherish all of our opportunities, and do better when working with each other.
