As a practitioner of Falun Dafa during the Fa-rectification period, I have been responsible for safeguarding the truth of the Cosmos: Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truth-Compassion-Tolerance). I have learned and experienced many things through reading the book Zhuan Falun and genuinely practicing cultivation. I have seen the confusion and corruption in modern minds and society and I sincerely await the day when all sentient beings will have the opportunity to awaken - the day when present history reflects the Truth.
At the very beginning of my cultivation practice, I became aware that I was walking backwards. Like 'Zhang Guolao rode backwards on a donkey, but people might not have understood what this meant. He discovered that going forward is moving backward, and that humankind has been moving further away from the characteristic of the universe.' (Chapter 9, Zhuan Falun, English version) Instead of going along with the flow of everyday people, I was not willing to 'prove my point' or 'have a good reputation,' to give a couple of examples. My interest became that of how to relinquish all of my attachments. I began to look inwardly for the way, rather than blindly following the masses. So now, what people think of me no longer matters. I have gained the freedom to evolve and change outside of the present mold. I am now different than others, yet my manner has earned wide respect. What is truly most important is that I follow the characteristic of the universe in my thoughts and actions. 'Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Sole Criterion to Discern Good and Bad People.' (Chapter One, Zhuan Falun) I am consciously correcting my own deviations through cultivation in Falun Dafa, and this process is essentially returning me to the truth, and revealing to me the truth at different levels.
As humankind collectively has deviated from this characteristic, so have science, thoughts, and matter. There is nothing left in the human world that reflects the true nature of things, and human beings are also not reflecting the true nature of things.
Even a lot of people know that our present history books do not tell the real story of history. They do not tell the complete stories, but rather pick and choose the content to suit some people's individual interests. There has been much evidence that disproves the so-called facts over and over again, and yet these things are not recorded in mainstream literature. As well, phenomena that cannot be explained, baffling scientists and mathematicians alike, are simply discarded into categories called things like un-quantitative, unscientific or un-provable. Or they appear on television as 'unsolved mysteries,' turning the existence of these things into entertainment and profit. Ancient recorded history is now regarded as myth, and the precious truths are capitalized on by big business, turning them into “fashion trends” to make money. Each area of science stubbornly relies on the presently 'accepted' theory to predict and understand the phenomena of the universe, life and matter. They do not realize the existence of the boundless, vast firmament at all. How can those who write the history books claim to know what they are talking about? They have seriously harmed the truth and the lives of human beings with unfounded reasoning, corruption and false claims. How can one call these a proper record of events? Relying on superficial understanding they confine society within a narrow frame of existence, and gradually cut off the real source of truth, consequently making human beings into something they are not. Presently, most everybody generally follows the guidelines presented in these corrupted books of history and science, and as a result, when they are presented with the truth of the universe, they refuse to believe.
At this point, people do not know what to believe, and so they just follow the sickening trends. Lust, power, wealth, fame, ridicule, and a complete lack of self-restraint threaten to make the real history undiscoverable.
Only by following Dafa, (the Great Law) can one discover the genuine truth that forever remains unchanged throughout the universe and in the human world. Dafa should be cherished by all sentient beings as the most precious thing to rectify all the evil that has resulted due to the deviations throughout the cosmos and in the human world. In the future, our history books will be written perfectly, in harmony with all things, without discord. The imprint of these great Truths will forever serve as a reference to cosmic development. History will soon be restored!
