About Fa Study
The following are my experiences and present understanding about studying the Fa with a clear and calm heart. As I understand it, what is removed during Fa study is human mentality. It's not simply a matter of not thinking about anything during Fa study, but not using human thoughts and the human heart to try to understand the Fa. Therefore, when I study the Fa, I try to keep my mind clear and calm at all times.
If, after reading for a while, I'm still plagued with interference, I do not go into a self-accusation or panic mode. Instead, I search for the source of interference. Is it an attachment that I cannot let go? Is it my own karma being brought out by the evil? Where is it? I keep hunting for it quietly. Once found, I show no mercy in eliminating it.
If, after reading for a while, what I read does not resonate with my heart from deep within, I immediately realize something is wrong. Are my human thoughts and human heart muddling Fa study? Am I using human thinking when trying to interpret what Master Li meant when he asked us to “get rid of any attachment you might have?” Is it a gap that I have allowed? Am I being controlled by some deviated notion? In any case, it is caused by my own main consciousness not being clear.
If, after reading for more than half an hour, I neither enter into a state of calmness nor feel stirred by the Fa, I know I need to take Fa study more seriously. In such a situation, I have not utilized my entire being to assimilate into Dafa. I became deceived by those so-called human notions and evilness coming from either outside or myself. I allowed myself to go along with them. When this happens, I immediately become strict with myself, and stop my deterioration by eliminating all interference from evil beings.
Now, I realize that Fa study and Fa rectification are combined. When studying the Fa, we can no longer be sloppy. Have faith in Dafa and our righteous beliefs.
Some practitioners said that lately the Fa seems fresh and new every time they study.
About Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts and Closely Following Master
Through sending forth righteous thoughts, I have gradually understood how to participate in Fa rectification. “The Fa rectifies the Cosmos.” What is really rectifying the Cosmos is the Fa, and not personal supernormal abilities. The main function of our righteous thoughts, supernormal abilities, and the like is simply to participate in Fa rectification. The reason why our righteous thoughts are powerful and boundless is because we are rectifying the Cosmos within the Fa. All beings are meant to be rectified.
My experience and enlightenment while chanting the verses of Fa rectification and sending forth righteous thoughts as taught by Master Li made me realize one thing more clearly. Sending forth righteous thoughts serves as a vital component of the arrangement made by Master to let us participate in Fa rectification, to build up our mighty virtue amidst Fa rectification and to become divine beings. We should put Fa rectification, ourselves, all sentient beings and the evil in proper perspective. We realize the importance of maintaining righteous thoughts at all times. We have come to a more clear and rational understanding of evil and its eradication. When we are able to maintain a powerful, righteous mind at all times, then the network of evil forces will be completely destroyed. In fact, they are no longer able to exist, because Dafa practitioners have already entered into the state of real divine beings. Furthermore, we will soon face several billion people in this world who will obtain Dafa in the future. To fulfill our task we must live in this powerful, righteous state. Otherwise, we will not be up to the required standard.
Just take a look back. How spectacular the past six months has been! So many divine beings are returning to their original state.
Our Creation of the Future
Now everybody is loaded with things to do and feels that time is running short. I, on the contrary, think that time is not a problem. The key is our attitude. If time has become a deviated being, then we need to rectify it. If that does not work, we can even create time ourselves. Nobody said that we should obey all the deviated beings. More importantly, don't we carry our own energy field and time field?
My current understanding of Master's scripture “Path” is as follows. Our lives are our paths, and we are walking on our own paths -- paths leading back to our true selves, beings forever safeguarding the Fa. The end of our cultivation paths signals the beginning of our real lives. Right now, we need to learn how to walk on our own. Master said: “Cherish the present time and make the best use of it--this time is meant for the disciples.” (“Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference”) What should we do? What else is there except to learn how to follow correct directions, walk our own paths and arrange the future for ourselves and even for countless sentient beings? Master has arranged for us to learn and create our future. There are so many sentient beings. If you and I don't create a future for them, then who will? Their future should be in our hands. If we don't offer them salvation, they will be destroyed as the evil arranged.
About Rectifying Deviations in This World
The PureInsight website does not have much content, but its power is enormous, because it contains the inner meanings of the Fa. Therefore, when I use the knowledge that I have gained from the PureInsight website and combine it with my own understanding to rectify everyday people’s deviated notions, they are often stunned by what they hear. They also start to question some of their own evil concepts and deviated notions. Is this the best way? Let people take the initiative to obtain a correct understanding of Dafa. Let people choose for themselves the way to escape the evil’s control.
Personally, I realize more and more that the root of ordinary people’s mentality and the guiding principle of science nowadays is actually based solely on “Seeing is believing; no seeing, no believing.” (Essentials for Further Advancement – “Why One Cannot See”) After realizing this point, breaking through it feels easy and simple. The fact is, no matter how ordinary people understand things, the wisdom of Dafa disciples is genuine wisdom. We need to have absolute confidence in this, and let ordinary people truly understand it as well. This is what is called noble. It is only possible for us to rectify them, and absolutely not let them shake our belief.
Everlasting Future and Everlasting Mission
The creation of a Dafa disciple by Dafa started when its life was created a long time ago, and will end only when Fa rectification is finished. No other beings have been created over such a long history of time and with such an enormous amount of effort. As Dafa disciples, not participating in Fa-rectification means self-destruction. Therefore, all positive states that we are in right now closely relate to our future.
Hence, everything that we do at the present time is extremely important.
