[PureInsight.org] This story happened about six months ago in the year 2013. One of the characters in the story was my daughter and the other was a farmer’s wife, Mrs. X from Guizhou Province of China. Both my daughter and Mrs. X were diagnosed with cancer, their fates distinguished by their different choices made with regard to Falun Dafa.
My daughter was more than 40 years old. She worked for the government and was heavily influenced by the evil CCP (Chinese Communist Party) doctrines. Both my wife and I kept telling her the truth about Falun Dafa, yet, my daughter refused to accept it. She told us that she had witnessed or learnt of too many political movements in China where people were punished simply because they held different views against the current regime in power, so she refused to get involved with Falun Dafa. She would sometimes even yell at my wife and me when we were clarifying the truth to her.
In the fall of 2011, my daughter was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. We then told my daughter that Falun Dafa worked wonders, as long as she would say; “Falun Dafa is good, Zhen Shan Ren is good”. She would be taken care of by Master Li and miracles would occur. I also asked a fellow Dafa practitioner who’s cured without treatment to come and talk to my daughter in person. My daughter still refused to believe and claimed that we were being cheated saying she only believed in modern medicines and modern science. She also boasted that the majority of her medical bills would be paid by the government agency where she was employed, etc. Once, when I was trying to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to her in the hospital, she started to yell at me. Some other patients joined her and tried hard to get me out of the hospital.
Now, in the same hospital where my daughter was being treated, there was a farmer’s wife, Mrs. X, from a very poor village in a remote mountain area in Guizhou Province who was also diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment. Mrs. X had developed a liver cancer and her stomach was bloated with water inside. She had been beaten down by the cancer so much that she appeared very weak and thin. Mrs. X’s husband stayed in the hospital to take care of her. As the medical bills mounted, this couple could barely deal with the payments. They ate very simply every day. My wife and I would sometimes share some of our food with the couple and this couple was deeply moved. We took the chance to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the couple, telling them that Falun Dafa was a righteous cultivation way. It was a Buddhist cultivating Fa of high virtue, and Master had come to save sentient beings. We also told the couple about the world-wide recognition of Falun Dafa and let them know that Falun Dafa could improve the moral standard of human beings, as well as help people live a healthier life. We told stories about people who were cured of their illnesses when they started to practice Falun Dafa. As a result, more and more people were attracted by the miraculous power of Falun Dafa and began to cultivate as a Falun Dafa practitioner. In just a few years, more than 100 million people in China became Falun Dafa practitioners. We also told the couple how the then CCP regime leader Jiang started to crack down on Falun Dafa out of jealousy. In 1999, a nationwide brutal persecution on Falun Dafa and its practitioners was initiated by the CCP. We continued to let the couple know that evildoers would be punished in the end, just as good deeds would be rewarded. All those evils would definitely be cleaned out. We told the couple that if they had joined any CCP memberships before, they had better quit as soon as possible. When it was time to condemn the evil CCP, we didn’t want to see them become CCP victims. We told the couple to say; “Falun Dafa is good, Zhen Shan Ren is good”. We assured them that Master would take care of them. Miracles would occur as the power of Falun Dafa and Master was beyond words.
After learning truths and the current persecution, the couple readily accepted Falun Dafa. They decided to quit the CCP right away. We gave a life protection charm to Mrs. X and expressed our best wishes for her recovery. Mrs. X thanked us very much and promised that she would do what we had suggested. Mrs. X indeed kept her promise and started to recite; “Falun Dafa is good, Zhen Shan Ren is good”. Gradually, Mrs. X began to notice that her migraines and her back pains were eased, her bloated belly started to shrink and she could sleep very well and eat more foods. When she felt very hungry in the night, Mrs. X would grab a raw sweet potato and eat it. Her chewing noises could be easily heard by others. Later, Mrs. X was able to take a short walk outside the hospital and she felt that her health was improving daily. Mrs. X told others in the hospital that she believed in Falun Dafa and she would definitely start to read the books of Falun Dafa when she got back home. She said that she wanted to practice Falun Dafa so that she could become a better person.
Later, when Mrs. X was examined again in the hospital to check her progress, her cancer had miraculously gone. Mrs. X had recovered from cancer! All the doctors and nurses were astonished. They wondered what had happened to Mrs. X. How could eating raw sweet potatoes cure one’s cancer? It was indeed a miracle. I then told my daughter about Mrs. X’s recovery and said that Mrs. X got cured of her cancer just because of her faith in Falun Dafa. I told my daughter that the miracle could happen to her just the same. My daughter, however, stopped me and said that the hospital was administered by the army, that we’d better keep silent so as to avoid any possible criticisms against us by the hospital staff. She told me that I should stop forcing her to believe in something that she didn’t want to believe in.
Later on, my daughter’s illness deteriorated. She had trouble eating, sleeping and going to the rest room. Her body started to swell. It became difficult to give her intravenous shots or administer oxygen. The doctors felt helpless and asked the family prepare for my daughter’s funeral. Even then, my daughter could hear us and her mind was still clear. We took this last chance to try to persuade her. I asked my daughter to recollect how she got awakened from a coma due to her son’s loud shouting of; “Falun Dafa is good, Zhen Shan Ren is good”. It had happened three times before. Each time my daughter was on the verge of collapse, my grandson would yell to heaven: “Master Li, please save my mom, I am only five years old, I am your little disciple and I can’t live without my mom!” My daughter would then wake up. I said to her that she was totally indoctrinated by the evil CCP. The reason she refused to accept Falun Dafa was due to those evil doctrines inside her mind. Those doctrines controlled her. I told my daughter that she was a good person in her own nature and we wanted Master to forgive her. I let my daughter know how her son knelt on the floor and tried to help his mom write a confession statement, asking for forgiveness from Master; how her son conducted a play about a little Dafa disciple. I whispered in my daughter’s ear, “How could you leave your clever and loving little son? You must try your best to live.” I then played the recordings of Master Li’s Fa lectures to her and my daughter silently accepted them. My daughter kept on listening to the lectures and when she got to lecture No. 5, she got up from the bed and went to the restroom all by herself. She felt much better afterwards and started to feel hungry. She said she wanted to eat. We then prepared some porridge for her and my daughter was able to receive intravenous shots again. Indeed, she was out of danger.
Sometime later, I asked my daughter what she thought about the Fa lectures. She turned around and said: “How could the hospital have nothing to do with my recovery? I am a college graduate, I know much more than you. I believe in science. What you are talking about is just nonsense and superstitious. I still don’t believe in them.” One day, my daughter told me that she had a very strange dream. In her dream, she saw a tall and big deity. The deity lifted her with a single finger to a golden lotus flower. After that, six monks started to recite Buddhist scriptures around her and the lotus flower began to float in the air. She was lifted upwards as well. I then asked my daughter how she would interpret this dream. My daughter replied that she didn’t know yet. I then told her that the dream was a hint for her to make up her mind, which not only was there heavenly beings, there were still many more things that human beings would never come to know or understand. I asked my daughter to enlighten and believe in Falun Dafa. I told her that only Dafa could save her life and she should never harbor any wishful thoughts for the evil CCP, because the CCP’s character would never change. I also asked my daughter to quit the CCP membership. She said that she could never understand why Falun Dafa practitioners seemed to fight with CCP. I replied that Falun Dafa was all about, “Zhen Shan Ren”, while the CCP was all about “Lies, Evil, Conflict.” Wasn’t it obvious which one was the good one and which one was bad? In the 60 years after this evil CCP took control over China, political movements kept cropping up one after another. Each movement would result in the killing of millions of Chinese people. The CCP had already killed more than 80 million Chinese people as a result of those movements. The current persecution against Falun Dafa was even more shocking. Who could imagine someone would perform live organ harvesting for profit -- such a heinous crime? The CCP had committed the most wicked crime against Falun Dafa. Even the heaven was angry. The CCP was already doomed. I asked my daughter to quit as soon as possible; otherwise, she would suffer together with the demise of this evil CCP. Even after all my talking, she still couldn’t make up her mind. She still said there was hope for the CCP. One month later, my daughter passed away.
In the two years after my daughter’s first cancer diagnosis, my wife and I had been trying our best to clarify the truth to her. Master had also lifted her up from the brink of death several times; however, due to the heavy influence by the evil CCP’s doctrines, my daughter refused to accept Falun Dafa every time and became yet a victim of the evil CCP. It is indeed a bloody lesson. I am here sincerely hoping that all those Chinese people who have not yet quit their CCP memberships will soon wake up and start to take a fresh look at themselves, at the evil CCP, and at Falun Dafa. Please quit the evil CCP’s membership so that you can save yourself, so that you can secure a bright future for yourself and for your family.
