[PureInsight.org] My second oldest sister lives in a rural area and she is 57 years old. Her home is not rich and she has four children, thus the load on her shoulders has been quite heavy. Moreover, as a child she had many illnesses and was well known for how much medicine she had to take. She was very skinny, as if a wind could blow her away. She joined a Christian church and frequently attended the gatherings and joined in with the singing, however her physical and mental conditions continued to get worse.
She began practicing Falun Gong 15 years ago and soon after, all her illnesses disappeared. She was able to walk very fast and became very energetic, which assisted her in working on her farm. She realized how precious Dafa was. She respected the Fa and Master a lot and strictly did things according to the Fa principles. She searched within about everything and maintained her xinxing very well. After July 20, she joined the effort to clarify the facts of the persecution and save sentient beings. She had also developed a great home environment; her husband supports her and all four children have a great understanding regarding Dafa. One of the children has begun cultivation, while another one hasn’t but likes to read Dafa books. Three out of the four children gained entry into college and two of them are in the process of obtaining their masters degrees. Most of her relatives and neighbors have come to know the facts of the persecution and have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Since she began practicing Dafa, she has experienced many miracles. Here is just one of the miracles, which happened recently.
She always bears in mind respect for Master and the Fa, and thus whatever she eats, she thinks of Master first. This year, she grew some vegetables in her backyard, including tomatoes and cucumbers. She thought, “I cannot afford expensive things and they are not available in rural areas anyway. So I will just grow these well for Master.” She thought that since these were for Master, she must keep them completely green and not use pesticides and fertilizers, but she also had to protect them from bugs and diseases. Thus, she talked to the vegetables. She said, “The other vegetables are to be eaten by ordinary people, and you are to become tributes for Master. Do you know how lucky you are? You all have thoughts and know that you are here for Dafa and are waiting to be saved by Dafa. Thus you must remember ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ This way you will have a great future. You must also grow well. Do not grow bugs or diseases. This way I can make you tributes for Master and you won’t have come to this world for nothing.” She talked to them several times and after that, they all grew very well with no bugs at all. They looked to be extremely wonderful and whoever saw them would praise them. This year, on Master’s birthday, she gave us some so that we too could make them a tribute for Master. It is because of her pure heart that she experienced miracles even with the vegetables she grew.
She never misses Fa study no matter how busy she is. As a result, she is not able to put in as much time on her farm as do other farmers. However, all her fields grow better than the other farmer’s fields and thus she gets a better price for her produce then they do. One year, she grew some garlic. The other farmers were holding onto their garlic, waiting to get a higher price. She had also planned to wait. But several times she heard a voice next to her ear saying, “Sell them. Sell them.” She thought maybe it was a hint from Master, so she sold them all. Soon after, the garlic price dropped significantly and many farmers ended up having to discard their produce.
She didn’t attend school when she was young and had only participated in a literacy class for a couple of months. As time went on, she had mostly forgotten all the characters she had learned. However, after she began practicing Dafa, she was soon able to read Zhuan Falun. Although she reads it very slowly, she remembers it very well. She is a very straightforward and honest person and always holds a deep appreciation for Master. She often says, “I am illiterate and don’t know how to enlighten to things, but I just do what Master says. I must become more and more diligent.”
