[PureInsight.org] Whenever I listen to erhu (a two-stringed Chinese instrument) recordings from the Shen Yun performances, I am always immersed in the music. I really enjoy the beautiful melodies as well as Qi Xiaochun’s high-level skills. Nonetheless, my feeling is still different compared to listening to the music, “Pudu.” When speaking of “Pudu,” Master said, “In it is the entire process Master went through from prehistory up through the Fa-rectification” (“Teaching the Fa at the Meeting on Writing Music”). The music is pure, righteous, and able to enlighten us. In contrast, the melody of the erhu is for everyday people and thus still has some human elements, namely qing (emotion).
In one song during this year’s Shen Yun performance, the lyrics said, “Qing is like a net—the more you struggle, the tighter it becomes.” I have a deep understanding of that. When I was trapped in qing, my entire field was immersed in a gray, foggy substance. There was no light, and the environment was very repressive. I could feel that qing existed there, attempting to manipulate me. I realized that qing was from low level dimensions, while we Dafa disciples are walking on the road towards being gods. Qing is not something derived from ourselves, and our existence is much more microscopic than it. It is a being from the old cosmos and the old forces are using it to try to destroy us. That is, qing follows the path arranged by the old forces and is interfering with the Fa-rectification. How can I be bothered by it?
Thinking about this, I decided to treat it with benevolent resolution as well as elimination. I usually tried benevolent resolution first by talking to it, “I am not an everyday person and I am a Dafa disciple who has the mission to validate the Fa. If you choose to continue bothering me, you will accumulate lots of karma. If you choose to stop interfering with me, you will be rewarded since you are helping with the Fa-rectification to some extent. However, if you really follow the old forces’ arrangement to interfere with me, I will eliminate you. You will have to pay for the loss, both from the interference itself and from the effort that I take to eliminate you. Please make a good decision.” Normally after this, I felt energetic and my entire field was clear.
There were also occasions when I eliminated qing directly. When I had righteous thoughts, it disappeared immediately and I felt relieved. At the same time, the cleansed dimension was filled with a wonderful and dignified substance—compassion. When the interference came again, I cleaned it out again. Through this repeated process, I felt that a harmonious power was dissolving the elements that blocked my righteous thoughts and righteous actions.
From this, I realized that many of our attachments are related to qing. For example, when we are unable to forgive other practitioners’ mistakes, when we consider others to not be on the Fa, when we are looking down upon others and thus unwilling to work with them, all these are related to qing. There are many more examples of substances derived from qing, for example, fear, attachment to comfort, zealotry, jealousy, struggling, and showing off. When seeing a male practitioner working together female practitioners, we may have unnecessary speculation. Therefore, much of the persecution nowadays from the old forces is related to qing, and the purpose is to destroy us. We have to eliminate it in time regardless of in which form it exists.
Some practitioners are very diligent and they are able to consider things based on the Fa. Some are still trapped in qing and therefore consider things with human notions. This has created significant losses and we have to stop it. After all, qing is not part of us; rather it is a substance from the surrounding environment.
There are human notions in everyday society that exist as part of ordinary society. We, however, have to take actions according to the Fa, and eliminate all the interference. We have to keep in mind that qing is actually a kind of demon.
The above are some of my understandings that I wrote down to share with you. During the final steps of Fa-rectification, I hope we can all eliminate the interference of qing and do better in clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings.
