[PureInsight.org] Recently, I read some stories written by practitioners on reincarnation and where Dafa practitioners had come from. I was very touched by these stories. I also realized that many people around us have karmic relationships with us, including relatives, friends, and co-workers. We may have had some agreement in the past that at a certain time in history when became Dafa disciples, they would come into our lives again. We now have the opportunity to save them with compassion. While living amidst the illusion, we may consider it accidental when meeting people in various situations, although, in fact, all of them came for the Fa. Then, how can we fulfill our historical vows? There are many attachments and human notions that can interfere with us, making it difficult to truly save people. Thinking about this issue, I decided to view people around me again in a different light and to save them with wisdom.
One afternoon, I had a talk with a co-worker, an open-minded person, and clarified the truth to her.
We talked about work for a while. Then we began to discuss issues such as the current state of human rights in China, history, ancient culture, the Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 4, 1989, the so-called “Self-Immolation Incident,” the Mystical Stone in Guizhou, the foretelling of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP's) disintegration, and the blossoming of the Udumbara flowers [around the world]. She believed in these and agreed to quit the CCP using a nickname. The entire process lasted about one hour. In the end, I told her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good,” if encountering life-threatening situations. When speaking of these, I felt myself like a god who safeguards the Fa. I felt sacred and no longer had any regretful feelings towards her.
I remember two days earlier when a co-worker was about to leave my department, I decided to let go of my human notions and clarify the truth to her. At the beginning, I discussed various topics without speaking about the main issue. After talking for a long time, that person still didn’t know what I was going to say. I also became anxious; so I went ahead and talked to her about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. After this, I was touched by the experience and was almost in tears—after all, I didn’t leave room for any regret. The following day, that co-worker left in a hurry, as if her stay was just to hear the truth from me. I feel that the opportunity may not come again once it is missed.
I felt that once I initiated face-to-face truth-clarification, the wisdom kept pouring out. Of course, there are some co-workers who didn’t accept my truth-clarification and even urged me not to be involved in politics. After discussing this several times with them, I had to give up. I deeply sense that some people have been so severely poisoned by the CCP's culture and are just too lost. However, I believe that they could feel the compassion from Dafa practitioners and were grateful even if they hadn’t fully accepted the truth.
What I have done in face-to-face truth-clarification has been very limited. I hadn’t met Teacher's requirements on this in the past. There are also many human notions that can interfere with this. Therefore, there are still many people who are waiting to be saved. I will strive to do better now and save more people to fulfill my mission.
Finally, I think that as Dafa disciples, we need to do well in all of the things that we are supposed to do. As long as it is required by the Fa, we need to do it. We need to do well using our wisdom, rationality, and compassion. This is all cultivation and the process of letting go of our human notions.
