(1) Lust
A few days ago, I dreamed that I went down to the 18th level of Hell. I
sat in front of the gate. When the gate opened, I walked right in. The
horrific scene was too frightening. There were numerous naked men and
women. They were being bitten by monsters of all sorts. There was a
demon-like being and it had a long tail which it used to whip a man.
Then it turned around and bit off his penis. The man screamed in
excruciating pain. The pained voice penetrated my entire body. During
the whipping, the man's penis grew back and the demon bit it off again.
This process repeated itself again and again.
When I looked the other side, I saw a few ghosts carry a woman and hold
her down on a burning hot block. They used a hot iron to burn her
private parts. She screamed and cried uncontrollably. And that
process repeated again and again. I could not bear to witness it
any more and wanted to run away quickly. But what startled me most was
that a few of my fellow practitioners showed up. I asked them with a
saddened heart, "Why are you guys here for?"
They said, "While we were cultivating in the human world, we had
physical relationships that were against the teachings. We sank deeper
and deeper. Therefore, we are suffering here. Our human sides did not
know about this consequence."
I asked again, "Have you seen so-and-so?" No one answered me and they
were all in great pain. I searched all over and did not find him.
Perhaps, he had changed. This level of Hell is called "Timeless Hell."
Because Hell was overcrowded with people, they have to wait to be sent
off to other levels.
The officer who was in charge of food saw me and brought me two dishes
and said, "Welcome here! I made these two wonderful dishes especially
for you."
I looked at his left hand with a plate of tofu covered with flies and
his right hand a plate of stir-fried green pepper crawling with
maggots. I said, "Please take them away, they are too filthy."
He walked away and said, "These are the best we can offer. Many here
are dying for food like this." I ignored him and kept walking.
Suddenly I saw my husband, mother-in-law, and my mother. I was so
shocked, "How did you get here?" My husband said, "I was calling you
while driving and fell into a ditch. Then your mother-in-law and your
mother heard about the news and passed out. Therefore we are all here."
After my husband said that, a judge and his secretary came over. I told the judge, "Please send them back."
The judge said, "This is temporary. We have to collect their souls
first, otherwise these beings who tried to cultivate to be demons will
take their souls. Because your husband is a cultivator, that benefits
your mother-in-law and your mother. He then ordered a little
ghost to open the door of Hell to send them out.
I asked, "How come you do not let me go?"
He said, "Don't be so anxious. There is more for you!"
Afterwards, we came out of the "Timeless Hell" and came back to the
human world, from the bottom and moving upwards, from the Hell to the
human world.
After I woke up, I thought about the areas adjacent to us. Recently,
over 40 practitioners were being persecuted while having a Fa
conference. Among them, some were having relationships, one male
practitioner with several female practitioners. Even though some
practitioners cannot be classified as having a relationship, they are
close to it. Their fields are filled with this attachment (the image of
the opposite sex) and that severely affects their cultivation. These
two hearts are controlled by the old forces. Because our attachments
are being taken advantage of by evil, the fields of our fellow
practitioners have demons of sentimentality and lust. Unfortunately,
they cannot be detected it from the surface.
Master said, "Whenever a tribulation comes, you do not see it with the
side of your original nature but view it completely with your human
side. Evil demons then capitalize on this point and inflict endless
interference and damage, leaving students in long-term tribulations. As
a matter of fact, this results from an inadequate understanding of the
Fa by your human side. You have humanly restrained your divine side; in
other words, you have restrained the parts that have been successfully
cultivated and have prevented them from doing Fa-rectification. How can
the uncultivated side restrain your main thoughts or the side that has
already attained the Fa? Having humanly fostered the evil demons, you
allow them to capitalize on the loopholes in the Fa. When a tribulation
arrives, if you, a disciple, can truly maintain an unshakable calm or
be determined to meet different requirements at different levels, this
should be sufficient for you to pass the test. If it continues
endlessly and if there do not exist other problems in your xinxing
or conduct, it must be that the evil demons are capitalizing on the
weak spots caused by your lack of control. After all, a cultivator is
not an ordinary human. So why doesn't the side of you that is your
original nature rectify the Fa?" (From Expounding on the Fa)
The time for cultivation is limited, please come back to the path and
walk the last leg of your journey. Don't indulge in your own demon
nature and let the evil get hold of your loopholes and bring disaster
upon you!
(2) Cultivation of Speech
Later in my dream I saw several practitioners talking about others'
shortcomings under a big tree. They were having a wonderful time and
said that they sharing.
The judge pointed them out to me and said, "They did not watch their
speech and will go down to the fourth level later. They tongues will be
pulled out by a hook and a piece will be cut off. After the wound grows
back it will be cut off again."
I ran over to tell them the consequences and they immediately covered
their mouths and said that they would practice cultivation of speech.
Actually, they were just using their human acquired notions to judge
others and also created conflicts among fellow practitioners and
interfered with Fa rectification at the same time-- the same things
that demons do. Sometimes, we cannot see things from the superficial
level. How well others have cultivated depends on their levels and
their enlightenment to the Fa principles. We really should not
criticize others so that they will be taken advantage by the evil and
at the same time being pushed by us. We must practice cultivation of
speech!
Master rescued all of us from Hell. Who is good and who is bad? Who is
better than others? Any human notion is an attachment! Only when we can
accommodate and be in harmony with each other, can we walk the last
segment of our journey well. When we can go back home together, that is
our grand wish fulfilled! Let go of our attachments and don't let the
evil take advantage of our loopholes. Remember when we came down and
promised that we would remind each other if one of us was lost. If we
miss this rare opportunity, we may never go back home! How come we are
so lost in this human world and forget our promises to each other?
Fellow practitioners, please don't miss this golden opportunity. Let's
follow Master and go home! Countless sentient beings in our cosmic body
are waiting for their kings to return.
