Reading the experience sharing and other reports on Minghui and PureInsight has never failed to provide me with confidence and make me diligent in doing the three things well: studying the Fa, sending righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth. I study the Fa a lot and enjoy reading read almost every edition of ClearWisdom and PureInsight.
Before I go on, I would like to emphasize that Fa-study is truly the most vital thing in our cultivation and daily life. Whenever I have been diligent in my cultivation, approached everything with righteous thoughts and righteous actions, and been able to do and learn things quickly so as to contribute to Fa-rectification events, it is when my Fa-study was solid. Whenever I slacked off, fell down, made mistakes, lost my temper or indulged in attachments and notions (even filthy ones), it was always when my Fa-study was not solid and my human thoughts dominated.
Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston", "When you do well in the Fa-rectification, I can see that it's always because you are able to understand the Fa from the Fa; and when you do somewhat poorly, I can see that it's because you aren't making a priority of Fa-study and you aren't able to understand the Fa from the Fa. As a Dafa disciple, no matter what the situation or what the circumstances, you have to study the Fa, and you can't neglect your own assimilation and improvement; you can't forget to study the Fa. If you don't study the Fa well, you won't be able to do Dafa work well."
And also recently in "Shed the Human Mindset," "Some students really haven't regarded studying the Fa as something important, and often look at situations that arise among Dafa students with an ordinary human mindset…"
"The solution is to without exception make studying the Fa a priority and to study the Fa diligently. This Great Law is able to rectify the colossal firmament and allows people to cultivate to Consummation-shouldn't you treasure an opportunity as rare and precious as this? And this is an opportunity that will be gone in an instant!"
Further, it is only when I study the Fa a lot that I really benefit from the articles on ClearWisdom and PureInsight; further, when my Fa-study is solid, I am able to "speed read" the entire ClearWisdom in 15 minutes and PureInsight in 20 minutes and yet able to read all the articles! (I don't read each and every word, but I do skim over all the sentences and read the ones that strike me in detail.) Of course, when I study the Fa a lot and study it well, I am also able to do my college work and Dafa work very fast.
Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference" (Guiding the Voyage), "Judging from the articles on the Clearwisdom Website and Dafa disciples' articles on the Xinsheng3 Website and in other media, I'd say that some of the articles you've written are masterpieces—they are well-reasoned, their ideas are backed up, they demonstrate clear thinking, and their logic is strong."
The ClearWisdom and PureInsight websites enrich me and the experiences shared remind me of the importance of studying the Fa and doing the three things well. They also help raise my human level understandings of concrete issues that arise in the Fa-rectification period, and help remind me of the importance of doing the exercises, behaving righteously in ordinary human society and what it means to truly be an upright and noble human being.
Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference", "Dafa disciples are all still being persecuted. You want me to be happy, but I can't be. How many Dafa disciples are being persecuted in those evil labor camps in China at this very moment!"
I often feel the same way upon reading the ClearWisdom articles about the persecution; these remind me about how important it is to clarify the truth and reduce the pressure on practitioners in China. I am often reduced to tears upon reading about the evil persecution of the Chinese Communist Party has inflicted upon practitioners, and this helps me to be diligent in cultivating myself and clarifying the truth well.
Also, ClearWisdom's sections on health benefits, events from around the world, media reports are all very encouraging, and I frequently send ClearWisdom articles to my non-practitioner relatives to read. My family initially was strongly opposed to my practice; but after I kept sending them ClearWisdom articles over a period of around 3 years as well as upon seeing my own changes, they are now completely supportive of my practice.
Teacher also said in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference," "You know, what's presented on our PureInsight Website is the future humankind's new concepts, and it represents the new humankind's future thinking and correct views. The state, the mercy, the kindness, the purity, the righteousness, and the great forbearance displayed by Dafa disciples during the Fa-rectification period is helping to shape the future society."
PureInsight's articles on culture, upright and noble stories from ancient history, cultivation stories as well as its exposing the evil nature of the Communist Party Culture have all been very helpful for me to remember how I must behave as a true and dignified human being, as well as the fate that will befall me if I am to stray from righteous thoughts and indulge myself in the depraved human culture.
I have only cultivated for around 4 years now, and have made mistakes when my Fa-study and righteous thoughts were lacking. Compared to veteran practitioners or those who have always been diligent, I feel very far behind. However, my mind has been shaped through studying the Fa every day as well as reading the ClearWisdom and PureInsight websites. While the Fa helps me keep my righteous thoughts firm, ClearWisdom and PureInsight enable me to see the concrete effects and rich experiences of people who do well in studying the Fa and doing the three things, and the poor performance of those who don't.
In contrast, I have seen practitioners who have "no time to read ClearWisdom" in turn have "no time to study the Fa." (I used to be one of these types of practitioners until I started to have problems in my cultivation and diligence.) Whenever they look at problems or issues, it seems to me they always emphasize surface level issues rather than looking at things from the Fa. In addition, I have heard that a few veteran practitioners in my area recently stopped practicing or have slacked off. I believe that this is because they haven't studied the Fa much, and also perhaps lack the rich and in-depth understanding, as well as the practical and real experiences, of practitioners around the world that have been shared on ClearWisdom and PureInsight.
These are just my personal understandings. Since I have benefited so much from reading the articles on ClearWisdom and PureInsight, I just wanted to share my feelings about these websites. The Fa, supplemented by ClearWisdom and PureInsight, has shaped my thinking as I have cultivated, and I am sure it will continue to do so in the future.
