[PureInsight.org] Yesterday I called a Chinese police officer in Jilin City, Jilin Province on his cellular phone. He repeatedly hung up on me before he turned off his phone. Then I tried to reach him at home, but it was a little boy who answered the phone. I told the boy about his father persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China. The boy hung up on me twice before he finally began to talk to me.
He told me in a slightly trembling voice, "Falun Gong is a cult." I asked him, "Son, who told you that?" he replied, "The television." I told him, "Son, you must learn to tell the truth from the lies. The so-called 'Self-Immolation Incident at Tiananmen Square' was a hoax. All the reports slandering Falun Gong are lies." I told him the truth about the Self-Immolation Act and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been brutalizing the Chinese people.
Next the little boy said, "Falun Gong forbids its practitioners to take medicine. A lot of people died as a result." As I listened to him repeating the CCP's lies, I felt very sad. I was a little choked up when I told him, "My dear boy, one will certainly go see the doctor and take prescription drugs when he is ill. Otherwise, he will be risking his health or even life. Falun Gong has never forbidden its practitioners from going to the doctors. But if you become healthy and do not suffer from any illness after you start practicing Falun Gong, why do you still need to take any medication? All the media reports you saw in China are nothing but lies. Do not be deceived by the CCP's lies. Will you please relay the truth to your father, mother, your relatives and friends?" He silently listened as I clarified the truth to him for a long time, no longer refuting what I told him.
This reminds me of an experience of calling a captain of a detention center at his home. It was also a small boy who picked up the phone. After hanging up on me a few times, he finally began to talk. After my persistent inquiries, he finally told me, "Our school played a video program about Falun Gong practitioners killing people. They are frightening! My entire class watched the video program." He also told me that the son of another police captain is his classmate and that he also watched the video program." I asked him, "Do you believe that Falun Gong practitioners are capable of killing?" He answered, "I don't know." Next I started clarifying the truth to him. He was glad to know the truth and told me, "Auntie, Falun Gong practitioners are kindhearted people and will never harm any living beings. Do you think it would be a good idea for me to share the truth to my classmates?" I replied repeatedly, "That's great. The more, the better."
I have met a lot of people who didn't know the truth about Falun Gong over the past few years, but it was most saddening when the kids told me that they were afraid of Falun Gong. Tears welled up my eyes when I heard their words. Children are born innocent. The evil CCP has planted the seeds of hatred towards Falun Gong in the minds of children in China. Their minds have become twisted. How could such children become mentally healthy people when they grow up?
The majority of the children of the Chinese police do not know the truth about Falun Gong. In order to justify and cover up their crimes against Falun Gong practitioners, the Chinese police have lied to their family members, including their own children. Those of us outside of China are obligated to clarify the truth to the Chinese police's family members.
I always keep talking to each person I call until he understands and accepts the truth about Falun Gong. For the past few years, we have called a lot of people in China. There are nearly 1.4 billion people in China. There is only so much each of us can do, but when all of us start calling China, we will make a powerful difference.
What type of information should have been instilled into the minds of children in China? It should be Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, instead of lies and hatred. We need to work harder together to attain that goal.
